Call Assange’s bluff and take him down

I”m really sick and tired of this guy. He has documents that he is going to release piecemeal but he threatens that if he is arrested or shut down he will release them in a giant dump, I say release them in a giant dump and get it over with.

At this point we are most definitely dealing with a terrorist who is holding these documents (and potentially innocent people) hostage. He has now moved from being the self proclaimed harbinger of freedom and free speech to a thug of the worst order when he threatens the United States (and let’s face it, WE are his target) with this dump of information. This latest threat really shows his true colors. He’s an ordinary thug who is willing to put at risk people and nations to protect himself.

Why would we negotiate with him? Why should we?

And while I’m on this topic, who is aiding him? All this information did not come from one lonely, miserable PFC. Assange claims he has information damaging to BP and most probably Bank of America. One mischief making private didn’t give him all those documents. In fact, I find it hard to believe that this same private gave him the State department cables.

It’s time to release the dogs on Assange and bring him down. This little “sissy” irritant has had the headlines long enough and his attempts to intimidate and control American policy has to end.

Great column from the WSJ and some little known TEA party facts

William McGurn

. . . [M]oralizing about the ugly motives of the American people has become common. Whether it’s a federal judge declaring there exists no rational opposition to same-sex marriage, a mayor railing against those who would like a mosque moved a few blocks from Ground Zero, a Speaker of the House effectively likening the majority of her countrymen who did not want her health-care bill to Nazis, or a State Department official who brings up the Arizona law on immigration in a human-rights discussion with a Chinese delegation, the chorus is the same: You can’t trust ordinary Americans.

We’ve been called Nazis, racists, evil mongers and haters. We’ve been compared to the klan. Our attorney general has called us “a nation of cowards.” We are labeled homophobes and xenophobes. We’ve been accused of not only inciting violence but wanting it, as well.

And none of these epithets or accusations have anything to do with what ordinary Americans are really concerned about. We want to return to constitutional government, less taxes, smaller government, more fiscal and moral responsibility. So, again, what do any of these issues have to do with homosexuals or with race?

Absolutely nothing but the narrative has been written for us by the Obama loving liberal media and it’s a real uphill climb to overcome it.

Does it matter that there have been no arrests of any TEA party members at any of their events? Or that no one has been able to come forward and claim a $100,000 reward with proof that anyone called a black politician the N-word? Of course it doesn’t matter because those little facts don’t fit the liberal narrative.

March 2010 TEA party in Searchlight, NV

It’s a little known fact but over 70% of TEA party members have some college or are college graduates. You won’t read that in the liberal media because they prefer to paint us as stupid white rednecks who “cling to our God and our guns.” An educated grassroots movement doesn’t fit in the tapestry that the MSM is weaving about us.

The TEA party is composed of 75-80% white Americans. The general population of white America is 75%. The total population of Black and Hispanic Americans is 27%. There are 24% of TEA party members who are minorities.  How far off, really is the demographics of the TEA party from the general population of America? (24% is a surprisingly high number when you consider that we have been labeled as racists from the get go.) But do we see these numbers anywhere in the media? All I had to do was a google search to find them.

The media will not report these numbers. They will continue to spread the narrative of older white male, gun-toting, angry TEA party members and that is what a great many Americans are still believing about us. It’s going to be a real climb for us to prove them wrong but we have to persevere, hold fast to our ideals and agenda and come November, make them eat their words.

2 more good reasons Gov. Perry should boycott the Governors border meeting

Outrageous!

from the WSJ story - Huckabee and Quijas in a Mexican prison.

Mexico is torturing and falsely imprisoning our citizens and our government just doesn’t care. The consulate tells the family of these men (in the WSJ story) that they can’t and won’t do anything to help, although there are claims of torture by the authorities. This would never happen in America. Accusations of torture by prisoners in America, usually end with someone being fired, tried and thrown in jail. (If the victim is a minority, riots also ensue.) These men, in Mexican jail, must feel totally forsaken and hopeless. They can’t even get an attorney who can speak English, for cryin’ out loud!

The American government is so consumed with a law in Arizona that mirrors federal law that they ignore what’s happening to our citizens in Mexico. The bleeding heart left and its government can’t be concerned with the allegations of torture from American citizens who have been arrested and are being tried in Mexico. They are too busy screaming racism in Arizona.

I hope Americans stop going to Mexico. I have friends who go there to purchase medication or for very cheap dental work, others who go there for vacation. This is a dangerous place and our government doesn’t care what happens there. They especially don’t care what happens to our citizens if they are arrested and then tortured.

This government is giving Mexico over $1billion (which we really don’t have) to fight drug cartels. That’s in addition to the over $20billion of  US money a year that legal and illegal workers send home to Mexico. They get plenty of our money.  Americans should not be spending a single dime in that country.

And they seem to get plenty of respect from our politicians, too. Remember this:

A standing OVATION? I am still outraged when I see this.

Until there is a fair judicial and legal system in Mexico (hey! did you see those pigs fly by?) Americans are obligated to avoid business with Mexico. We owe it to our fellow citizens  – Huckabee, Quijas and all others – to stand firm against Mexico.
