Hamilton was not a Martian either

We need to be vigilant of the left’s attempts to rewrite history and spoon feed it to us via the media and entertainment industry. Case in point is the video that is being featured on Fox Nation from those mental giants at CNN, Spitzer & Ditzer – as Rush likes to call them.

I’ve never watched this show – only seen the clips online, but this one claiming that Alexander Hamilton was an illegal alien is way over the top and is more reason for me to never watch that show.

Google or Wiki Hamilton and you you get a real quick education about the man. I’m not going to rewrite stuff here that you can find for yourself but needless to say, Hamilton was about as much an alien as most other  “*Americans” of his time. Technically, there was no America here when he came from the Caribbean: it was a collection of British colonies just as the place of his birth, The British West Indies, were.

Furthermore, he was more than a guy who “got off the boat and just happened to write the Constitution.” In fact, the only real thing he had to do with it was signing it. But he was more than “just a guy who blah blah blahed” – he was an aide to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War, from all accounts he fought bravely in the service of the colonies and he penned a great deal of The Federalist Papers. He was a lawyer and the first Secretary of the Treasury, a position that I’m sure he held in greater regard than the current Secretary does.

At the time of his emigration to the colonies, he was a subject of the British crown, as were all others who lived in “America.”  He was a British subject who left one British territory for another. This was not a sovereign nation so therefore there was no such thing as an illegal immigrant.

And while we are on this topic, let it also be known that all of the Founders, save Hamilton, were born in “America” to first and second generation “Americans.” Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Adams all were born in “America” into established “American” families.

We have all got to speak up when we hear or see this misinformation being disseminated. We’ve had 4 decades of Zinn history in our schools and 20 some years of Oliver Stone’s revisionist history in our theaters and it’s got to be stopped.

As Conservatives, our battles are not only in the voting booth and the phone lines and emails of our Congressmen (no, I am not being politically incorrect, I know that we have women in our legislature, too)  and Senators. This is also a cultural battle we are fighting.  We have got to stay ahead of those who, for whatever reason, are spewing falsehoods about our Founders and our history.

More WikiLeaks leaks to come

This WikiLeaks guy has announced that he will be releasing 15,000 more Pentagon secret documents.

Last week in the NYT, Ginger Thompson wrote what was a predictable and pathetic story on PFC BradleyManning (the “alleged” document leaker) and what a terrible life he had before he started leaking classified documents to his online pals.

He spent part of his childhood with his father in the arid plains of central Oklahoma, where classmates made fun of him for being a geek. He spent another part with his mother in a small, remote corner of southwest Wales, where classmates made fun of him for being gay.

According to Thompson, Manning was so “desperate for acceptance” that he did what is unthinkable to our men and women in uniform: he gave away secrets that he was entrusted with – secrets that could very well endanger the lives of his comrades and those who are assisting us.

“I’ve been isolated so long,” Private Manning wrote in May [to an friend online.]

Survival was something Private Manning began learning as a young child in Crescent. His father, Brian Manning, was also a soldier and spent a lot of time away from home, former neighbors recalled. His mother, Susan Manning, struggled to cope with the culture shock of having moved to the United States from her native Wales, the neighbors said.

We are supposed to feel sorry fot this guy? He got bullied as a kid. Didn’t all of  us at some point in time? He came from a broken home. Haven’t many Americans also? What did he do? Join the military. How stupid is that to do as a gay man? Like he would not be more isolated or like he wouldn’t be treated as bad or worse than he was in high school. I mean seriously, if you were a gay high school student who felt isolated and bullied, would joining the military be top on your list of career choices?

So he’s getting back at everyone who abused and mistreated him and he has valid reasons to do so – according to Thompson. We just need to understand him and accept that he had a horrible life (mostly at the hands of homophobes) that inevitably led him to treason.

Hey wait! then it’s all our fault! Manning cannot be held responsible for this treason. The American people and the military are responsible for creating this creature and the circumstances that led to the release of all these dangerous documents.

Doesn’t this all sound a lot like Oliver Stone and his attempts to put “Hitler in context”? Or like Imam Rauf who said that Osama Bin Laden was “American made”? The left is hell bent on blaming the American people for the atrocities of the insane.

I accept no blame for these monsters and I won’t be accountable for their horrendous acts. I have no sympathy and no mercy for this PFC and I make no apologies for it. He needs a quick trial and a quicker hanging. He’s a traitor to his nation. I felt the same way about Timothy McVay. There can be no tolerance for this in a time when information is almost impossible to keep secret.

Oliver Stone, the rewriting of history … again.

Just as he did with the movie JFK, Stone is again going to misrepresent and misinform the historical ignorant with his new Showtime mini-series, Secret History.

In JFK, Stone took theory and conjecture and presented it as fact to millions of young Americans who knew virtually nothing about the assassination and the players involved. In Secret History, I’m afraid he’ll do the same thing with WWI and WWII. His stated plan is to put Stalin and Hitler “in context.” I guess that would be a “context” that none of us ever knew. And his hope is that this series will be used as part of school curriculum.

Pardon me, but who made Stone, nothing more than a filmmaker, a great world historian? Is he trumping William Manchester (The Glory and The Dream) or David McCullough (1776)?

I’m interested in knowing the “context” that he plans to put Stalin and Hitler in. Two of the greatest mass murderers in the history of the world – what is it that we don’t know? What is it that he can tell us that genuine and great historians have not? Can you imagine the left slant this series will have?

“Stalin, Hitler, Mao, McCarthy — these people have been vilified pretty thoroughly by history,” Stone told reporters at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour in Pasadena.

“Stalin has a complete other story,” Stone said. “Not to paint him as a hero, but to tell a more factual representation. He fought the German war machine more than any single person. We can’t judge people as only ‘bad’ or ‘good.’ Hitler is an easy scapegoat throughout history and its been used cheaply. He’s the product of a series of actions. It’s cause and effect … People in America don’t know the connection between WWI and WWII … I’ve been able to walk in Stalin’s shoes and Hitler’s shoes to understand their point of view. We’re going to educate our minds and liberalize them and broaden them.”

You can’t judge people like Hitler, Stalin or Mao as good or bad? You’ve got to be kidding me! Hitler is a “product of a series of actions”? Does this mean that because he had a reportedly abusive father, we should be empathetic to his mass murderous ways? His father beat him and he turned into this crazed anti-Semite who put live people in ovens… okie, dokie. I feel so much better now that Stone has made me more empathetic about Hitler’s motivations.

One last question: How can anyone possibly say they have “been able to walk in Stalin or Hitler’s shoes”? This statement is the absolute zenith of arrogance… or stupidity.

A Star Studded Line-up of Useful Idiots

In political jargon, the term useful idiot was used to describe Soviet sympathizers in western countries and the attitude of the Soviet government towards them. The implication was that though the person in question naïvely thought themselves an ally of the Soviets or other Communists, they were actually held in contempt by them, and being cynically used. This could go on forever: Danny Glover, Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Alec Baldwin, George Clooney, Rosie O’Donnell… the list of idiots is never-ending. And these people are too stupid to see when they are being manipulated by the likes of Chavez and Castro and dare I say it – but since Van Jones has, I guess it’s all okay now – BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA! Worst of all, we’ve made them rich idiots! Or elected them to the presidency.
