Time says Tea party’s real cause is Civil War
The most racially divisive president ever
I’ve had a week from some unpleasant place and it’s not over yet but I’m finally in a position (with time) to blog again. If you pray, please say one for my mother. If you don’t, just keep a kind thought for her because she is a good person and very sick right now.
Is it any wonder why Rasmussen polls say the white/black relations have NOT improved? Polls show a drop from 62% in 2009 to 36% now in those who believe that relations between races have improved. These are interesting statistics from Rasmussen:
Twenty-seven percent (27%) now say black-white relations are getting worse, up 10 points from July 2009, while 33% think they’re staying about the same. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
African-Americans are much more pessimistic than whites. Thirty-nine percent (39%) of whites think black-white race relations are getting better, but just 13% of blacks agree.
Confidence in the nation’s course among African-Americans soared after Barack Obama’s election. But then several prominent Democrats, perhaps most notably former President Jimmy Carter, suggested that opposition to the president’s health care plan was motivated in part by racism. Only 12% of all voters agreed in September of last year, but among blacks, 27% felt that way and 48% were undecided.
These numbers should come as no surprise to anyone when you remember this presidents remarks about [white] “cops who acted stupidly” and other politicians who continue to claim that anyone who disagrees with this president is a racist (Jimmy Carter, for instance.) The NAACP is “monitoring” the TEA Party for any signs of racism. And the liberal media is hammering home the race issue at every turn. It’s no wonder people believe that race relations have deteriorated since this presidents election.
Remember theObama’s words? He was going to bring us all together: he was going to be the president of ALL Americans. He was the post racial president. He was, according to Evan Thomas, “above it all. Almost like God.” And yet, the perception is that we are worse off than before, in regard to race. It’s as though the last 50 or 60 years of civil rights laws and affirmative action have had no positive results.
Some one needs to send that memo to Condi Rice, Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell and countless other successful and respected Americans of Black ancestry.
New Tea Party infiltration attempts. This time with ties to the WH.
The Coffee Party didn’t work. Crashtheteaparty.org was an abysmal failure. Now we have theother95%.com. And according to Erick Erickson at RedState.com, it appears to have a shadowy presence behind it’s existence.
Astroturfing is what Erick calls this new counter movement. This site has connections that trail back toMoveOn.org, Democracy in Action, the Center for American Progress (John Podesta), the Obama WH and more directly, Cass Sunstein. It’s goal is to discredit and infiltrate the Tea Party movement through sneaky methods.
God Bless these patriots who keep the light on those who are trying to defame and discredit true American descent.
Read on from RedState.com:
Astroturf is the act of professional interest groups designing campaigns that appear to be grassroots efforts, but are not. It is what the left has accused the tea parties of being. Only more and more it looks like the anti-tea party movement is truly astroturfing.
Writing on January 15, 2010, Glenn Greenwald at Salon noted Barack Obama’s new head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Cass Sunstein, had championed creating fake websites and using outside 501(c)(3) interest groups to act as alleged independent champions of government policy and to “cognitively infiltrate” opposition websites, etc.
In other words, Cass Sunstein has favored the government using outside parties as government propaganda agents to paint their opposition as fringe and undermine their credibility. Kind of like what has been happening with the tea party movement – lots of SEIU members pretending to be tea party activists causing violence in front of TV cameras.
Sunstein advocates that the Government’s stealth infiltration should be accomplished by sending covert agents into “chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups.” He also proposes that the Government make secret payments to so-called “independent” credible voices to bolster the Government’s messaging
Considering Sustein’s recommendations, it is not far removed to speculate the Obama administration is behind a new anti-tea party website called The Other 95, which defends the government from tea party criticisms and attacks the tea party movement as fringe.
The website purports to be authentically grassroots, though one must wonder when the last time was any grassroots activist took the time to defend the government.
The designer is affilated with MoveOn.org and other leftwing sites and causes.
But most notable, the donations page makes donations out to Democracy in Action. Democracy in Action is not for individual activists to use. It is for small and medium sized 501(c)(3) organizations and others on the left. Among its clients? ACORN, True Majority, NAACP, and others.
Hmmmm. . . .
Let’s also remember that Center for American Progress, led by Obama’s transition team director John Podesta, has regular 8 a.m. phone calls to coordinate activity on the left.
It’s a play right out of Lenin’s handbook, forget Alinsky, to call the authentic “inauthentic” and then create something inauthentic demanding it be called “authentic.”
Quote of the day from an “American Treasure”?
“You’ve never seen a Columbine done by a black child. Never,” [Van] Jones said. “They always say, ‘We can’t believe it happened here. We can’t believe it’s these suburban white kids.’ It’s only them!” he said. “Now, a black kid might shoot another black kid. He’s not going to shoot up the whole school.”

Van Jones: the face of American communism
Where was Van Jones, Al Sharpton and TheOne when Derrion Albert was beaten to death by other black kids? All he was doing was walking home from school. Arnie Duncan showed up with of few of these loud mouths and made a big show of caring for a couple days.
Where are they now? What did their little pony show go after that?
The NAACP will be awarding Jones some great image award. He’s being courted all over the country by democrats and leftists to speak at this college and that private school. Kirsten Gillibrand (Senator NY) will be sitting in on a conference with him next month.
He’s become a mega star to the black community and apparently to the democrat party.
Do the mainstream democrats really want to align themselves with a self avowed communist? Is that the direction that they want their party to go? Do they want to be viewed as de facto communists?
Quote of the day
Black Leaders Ignore Black-on-Black crime
Treating poor black people as victims to be “organized” has been an abject failure. They are human beings to be educated, inspired and required to take responsibility for their own lives. The tragedy here is that Derrion was doing just that and it was working, but the malignant pathology of the ghetto spread to him on that unfortunate day and ended his promising life.
Ben & Jerry’s new flavor: Abu Jamal Mumia-cadamia Nut

Cop killer Wesley Cook, better known as Abu Jamal Mumia
Abu Jamal Mumia (really named Wesley Cook) is the convicted cop killer of Daniel Faulkner. He shot Faulkner 5 times… FIVE TIMES and one of those shots was point blank in the face, in what can be described as an ambush assassination.
In the early hours of December 9th, 1981, in a less than pretty part of Philadelphia, 2 cars were parked across the street from each other, Mumia in one and his brother, William Cook in the other. Faulkner, a white cop was performing a traffic stop on Cook. Some say that Faulkner was bludgeoning Cook, others say he was cuffing him. But regardless, Mumia dashed across the street, shooting the policeman in the back. Faulkner was able to shoot Mumia in the chest before Mumia unloaded his gun in the policeman, with one bullet in the face, at point blank range.
Obviously, Mumia survived and is now on death row where he broadcasts a radio show – you might have heard Van Jones speaking on it a few weeks ago.
At age 15, Mumia was a member of the Black Panthers in Philadelphia and his hero is Huey Newton. (The Black Panthers just keep showing up in one place or another lately, don’t they?) Unbelievable as it is, Mumia has even been invited to speak at university commencements (of course, not in person but videotaped from his cell): Kent State, Occidental College (remember that Obama attended this one) and UC Santa Cruz, among them.
The list of those who support Mumia and are working on his behalf are a real eclectic group, from the late Paul Newman to Ben & Jerry of ice cream fame; Amnesty International, the National Lawyers Guild and of course, the NAACP. The list is a real eye-opening read.
And of course, Van Jones. (Please read this article from 1999, SF Chronicle about a rally Van Jones helped organize on behalf of Mumia. Remember Valerie Jarret’s words? “We’ve been watching Van since his early days in San Fransico”?) I’m not sure which is worse, Van Jones defending Mumia or being a 9/11 truther. They are both equally despicable.
Abu Jamal has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts from California State University. In 1996 he wrote a book about his prison experience titled Live from Death Row and he hosted his own radio show on (believe it or not) Prison Radio.
