More proof that the elitists are out of touch and Constitutionally uneducated

Here is the proof that the average American understands the intent of the Constitution and the Political class does not:

Nearly seven-out-of-10 Mainstream voters say states should have the right to opt out of some or all of the health care plan, but just as many of those in the Political Class disagree and oppose allowing states that right.

But then 85% of Political Class voters favor the requirement that every American must obtain health insurance, while 74% of those in the Mainstream are opposed to it.

It’s obvious from this poll that the Political class has no understanding of state’s rights, individual rights,  limited federal government or the beliefs of the Founders and writers of the Constitution – not to mention, no understanding of the document itself.

When you start to think about this, it’s kinda scary. The Political class believe that the government can mandate or force people to buy something that THEY deem necessary and proper and they believe that they know better than you do or than your state does. These elitists are so arrogant that they believe they know better than the Founders, not to mention you and me.

This is all a direct result of the radically liberal education the politicals have received in America.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: These people are no smarter, in fact less smarter, than you and I. And yet, we keep electing them to office as though they know best. We trust them to make the right decisions when they have no understanding of the oath and office they hold.

I wish more people like you and me knew this. We would need no term limit amendment. That’s what elections are for and an informed mainstream voter would vote their limits every election.

Obama’s dream of a nuclear free world is naive and childish. Why he’s called the man-child president, I suppose.

It’s like the old bumper sticker – “when they outlaw guns, only the outlaws will have them.”  This is no different except for the power of the weapon.

We’ll disarm and set an example for — who? The Iranians or the North Koreans? Hugo Chavez? And we all know that this is the ultimate Chavez dream. These are the true nuclear threats. As Krauthammer says: who lays awake nights worrying about what the Brits are doing with their nukes? We worry about the rogue nutcases out there.  And no matter what we do, they are not going to disarm – not one iota.

But this is the typical leftist utopian fantasy: a world free of nuclear weapons  – oh, and also polar bears hugging us in our driveways.

I love this line from the Washington Post because it’s all too true. The hallmark of the marxist progressive movement is all about “causes”.

In my life time it was the Viet Nam war, then civil rights, and women’s rights with the sub-cause abortion rights. These causes (for the exception of abortion) have all but evaporated and so they glommed onto health care reform and the green cause, aka global warming climate change.

Scott Brown has murdered health care, all alone and premeditated. Just ask Chris “leg tingler” Matthews:

But look! Leaked emails, skeptical scientists coming out of the closets and Al Gore hiding in one, have debunked that so-called cause. So down the shitter goes the green cause and with it, cap and trade.

What’s the next cause? We need to be a step ahead of them. I call immigration the next big marxist progressive movement.

Not Evil Just Wrong

Did anyone watch this online premiere last night? Well, I know that close to 10,000 people did.  At this point, it will not be rebroadcast but the DVD’s are on sale at their website.

Hosted by Andrew Breitbart, it was a documentary that debunks Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth about global warming. Oh, did I say that? I mean GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE because even those guys admit that the planet hasn’t been warming, after all.

One of the film-makers, Ann McElhinney, insisted that the green movement is a religion being taught in our schools. I think that is the best description of what the green movement/Marxists are doing.

You might have seen the film’s director/producer, Phelim McAleer’s exchange with Al Gore where his mic was cut off:

The talk is now that Breitbart will be debuting a new website: BigEnvironment.com. I’ve not been able to find verification of that yet, however. I’ll guess we’ll have to just watch and see.
