But sometimes Obama cronyism is murderous: Eric Holder, a man unfit to be attorney general of the United States, continues to stonewall the “Fast and Furious” investigation into taxpayer-funded government gun-running to Mexican drug cartels.
It is alleged that the administration chose to facilitate the sale of American weapons to crime kingpins south of the border in order to support a case for gun control north of the border. Evidence keeps piling up:
The other day, a letter emerged from ATF supervisor David Voth authorizing Special Agent John Dodson to buy Draco pistols to sell directly to known criminals. Over 200 Mexicans are believed to have been killed by “Fast and Furious” weapons — that is to say, they were killed by a U.S. government program.
Doesn’t the New York Times care about dead Mexicans? Doesn’t Newsweek or CBS News? Isn’t Obamaism with a body-count sufficiently eye-catching even for the U.S. press? Or, three years in, are the enablers of Obama still so cynical that they accept it as a necessary price to pay for “change you can believe in”? I still recall the comment from Mrs. Brady (wife of James Brady, wounded in the Reagan assassination attempt) after she met with Obama months ago: to paraphrase her, she said the Obama told her the regime was working on gun control but it was slow going and “under the radar.” What more indictment of Obama and Holder does there need to be?
How do you feel about that? Our tax dollars paid for these guns to walk over the border and then used in murders, most specifically the murder of border agent Brian Terry.
There will be a special prosecutor and Holder will be gone – either by his own resignation (to protect TheOne) or TheOne will throw him under the bus. But Holder is the worst AG in my memory and he has to be held accountable. This is his department and they are his underlings.
The whole plan here was to discredit 2nd Amendment supporters. Does anyone remember Mrs. Brady’s comment after meeting with TheOne? To paraphrase Mrs. Brady (whose husband James Brady was severely wounded in the Reagan assassination attempt) Obama told her that “we’re going to change these laws but it’s slow going and we’re working UNDER THE RADAR.”
The only thing they’ve accomplished is shaming and disgracing our nation.
Last week, Eric Holder issued subpoenas to go after News Corp. – the parent company of the Wall Street Journal and Fox News. This isn’t news to anyone who reads my blog because you are well read and well educated on current events. Unlike some of the liberals I hear call Rush and Levin, we know what’s going on and we know the actors.
Holder is holder-ing out on Rep. Darrell Issa’s (R – CA) congressional investigation of the Fast and Furious/gun running fiasco.
This is a big story. There are reports of DOJ attorneys at Fast and Furious meetings with other very upper level ATF guys. But who’s covering it? Fox. Who is Holder now investigating? Fox. Connect the dots – what’s the message from Holder?
Now it seems to me that Eric Holder knew about this gun running crap and so did Obama. Remember Obama’s words regarding gun regulations, back in March, to Mrs. Jim Brady – “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”
And those processes are what? More executive orders, more regulations from unelected regulatory czars and letting guns walk over the border to make a case for more gun regulations.
I’m gonna say it again – This is a big story and the MSM is not covering it – on purpose. They are choosing not to cover this because of definite harm to Holder and probable harm it will do to Obama.
But the ends justify the means to the Marxists in our government. Let no one forget – LET NO ONE FORGET – that the means was the murder of at least one (and possibly another) American law enforcement agent named Brian Terry.
I guess the black activist’s Day of Action and Unity I, on April 23rd was so successful that a second one is planned in June. Did you miss the first one, because I sure did. Is it any wonder we are in such a mess when we have this many far leftists in Congress?
The Obama Regime has declared war on Arizona. Don’t think that you – in Montana or Iowa or any other of the 49 states- will be safe from this happening to you.
I do have to disagree with Sheriff Babeu when he says the government has become the enemy. It’s just the reverse. WE have become the enemy of the state now. They are coming after any state that disagrees with their agenda and this should be a wake up alarm for every one in this country. Descent will be met with an iron fist or a “boot on the neck.”

(CNSNews.com) – Pinal County (Ariz.) Sheriff Paul Babeu is hopping mad at the federal government.
Babeu told CNSNews.com that rather than help law enforcement in Arizona stop the hundreds of thousands of people who come into the United States illegally, the federal government is targeting the state and its law enforcement personnel.
“What’s very troubling is the fact that at a time when we in law enforcement and our state need help from the federal government, instead of sending help they put up billboard-size signs warning our citizens to stay out of the desert in my county because of dangerous drug and human smuggling and weapons and bandits and all these other things and then, behind that, they drag us into court with the ACLU,” Babeu said.
The sheriff was referring to the law suits filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and the U.S. Department of Justice challenging the state’s new immigration law.
“So who has partnered with the ACLU?” Babeu said in a telephone interview with CNSNews.com. “It’s the president and (Attorney General) Eric Holder himself. And that’s simply outrageous.”
Last week, U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton placed a temporary injunction on portions of the bill that allowed law enforcement personnel during the course of a criminal investigation who have probable cause to think an individual is in the country illegally to check immigration status. The state of Arizona filed an appeal on Thursday with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
“Our own government has become our enemy and is taking us to court at a time when we need help,” Babeu said.
Babeu and Sheriff Larry Dever of Cochise County Ariz., spoke by phone with CNSNews.com last week about the May 17 ACLU class-action lawsuit, which charges the law uses racial profiling and named the county attorneys and sheriffs in all 15 Arizona counties as defendants. The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit on July 6, charging the Arizona law preempted the federal government’s sole right to enforce immigration law.
“If the president would do his job and secure the border; send 3,000 armed soldiers to the Arizona border and stop the illegal immigration and the drug smuggling and the violence, we wouldn’t even be in this position and where we’re forced to take matters into our own hands,” Babeu said.
Dever said the federal government’s failure to secure the border and its current thwarting of Arizona’s effort to control illegal immigration within its borders has implications for the entire country.
“The bigger picture is while what’s going on in Arizona is critically important, what comes out of this and happens here will affect our entire nation in terms of our ability to protect our citizenry from a very serious homeland security threat,” Dever said. “People who are coming across the border in my county aren’t staying there. They’re going everywhere USA and a lot of them are bad, bad people.”
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), about 250,000 people were detained in Arizona in the last 12 months for being in the country illegally. Babeu said that that number only reflects the number of people detained and that thousands more enter the country illegally each year.
The CBP also reports that 17 percent of those detained already have a criminal record in the United States.
Both Babeu and Dever said they want to remain involved in the legal battle over the law, which many experts predict will end up being decided by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Dever has hired an independent attorney to represent him in the ACLU case and his attorney has already filed a motion of intervention in the DOJ lawsuit so the “(Dever) will have a seat at the table.”
A Web site also has been launched by the non-profit, Iowa-based Legacy Foundation to raise money for the Babeu’s and Dever’s legal defense.
Both men said they believe the outcome of the case has national significance.“For us, this is a public safety matter and a national security threat,” Babeu said.
You know, it’s amazing to me that the guy sitting in the White House has to host a beer summit over “cops who acted stupidly” but has absolutely nothing to say about this:
Why isn’t this guy in jail? If this isn’t hate speech, nothing is. If this isn’t inciting people (or trying to incite them) into acts of violence, nothing is. Why has the president nothing to say about this? His pastor, Jeremiah Wright has been in Chicago preaching his racism and no one, including the White House or Obama, speaks out against that. In fact, no one but Fox News has even reported it.
But by God, white cops act stupidly!
You can’t deal with people in a rational way when they live by a different set of rules and that’s the problem we have now. To black liberationists (like Obama) racism only exists with white people. Minorities can’t be racist and they can’t be guilty of hate speech. Therefore, the DOJ is refusing to prosecute hate crimes against whites.
This is nothing short of retribution justice – hey, I just coined that phrase, so I’m claiming it! – against all white people… all white people who aren’t in the administration or aren’t part of the elite progressive party.
“(W)e have restored the department’s Civil Rights Division to its proper place as the conscience of our nation and our country’s pre-eminent civil rights law enforcement agency,” Holder said.
“The communities that we serve must see that the federal government is really committed to the impartial and aggressive enforcement of our nation’s laws, and these communities must know that we will do all that we can to enforce the law that protect our civil rights with the same vigor that we enforce the laws that protect our public safety.”

With all this talk about security and the costs that come with it, the dangers of trying terrorists in civilian courts and having to expose state secrets to the defendants, no one has discussed who would sit on this jury.
Who would want to? What citizens would be willing to risk their lives and the lives of their families to sit on this jury? And what about the risk to the judge and the prosecutors? They live and breathe, too and have families, as well.
Eric Holder and his DOJ seem to have no concern about public safety. Even if – and it looks more and more like it will happen – the trial is moved to a military court, the fact remains: This administrataion, this DOJ, this Attorney General, NEVER cared about the safety of our citizens. They were willing to put the most international city, the biggest target on earth and all her citizens at risk in order to “prove to the world that our system works.”
Yes, to prove to everyone that our court system is just and fair while at the same time declaring that these terrorists will be found guilty and will be put to death! Last time I checked, that’s not how our system works. In our system, people are presumed innocent and shouting by the AG of the United States, the president’s press secretary and the president himself, before a trial, that they are guilty and will be put to death, taints a jury.
This nearly caused a mistrial in the Charles Manson case when Manson held this paper up, in the courtroom, for his jurors to see.
Taints a jury, if you can find one.
Jack Klugman might have understood the right way to use a switchblade in “12 Angry Men” but how many New Yorkers understand the evil mentality of using planes as human loaded missles? What jury of New Yorkers can ever be considered peers of these Islamist facists? What “jury of their peers” exists in all of America? And how does this “prove that our system works?”
It’s been said a zillion times that these guys are not Americans and do not deserve the rights afforded a citizen under the Constitution in a civilian court. That’s a no-brainer.
Just show me 12 sane people in NYC, who can never be considered peers but, who will be able to swear that in this case, they believe in the presumption of innocence and are willing to put their lives and families lives at risk to sit on this jury.
Why did those 7 democrats vote against cutting off funds to ACORN? Should they be part of an investigation?
Not only should no one expect, but they should not want the DOJ and Eric Holder to investigate ACORN. We all saw what happened to the Black Panther case in Pennsylvania. An outside, independent investigation must be demanded.
Why has the Twilight Zone media ignored this story? Why did they ignore the Van Jones story?
Does Obama not see how divisive he is when he boycotts Fox News Sunday but makes the rounds of all the other networks? Does he not see that he is preaching to his own choir and pissing away the chance to change the minds of Fox viewers regarding his healthcare reform? (Not that he could change minds, but he’s not even going to try.)
By ignoring Fox News, he is ignoring a huge number of Americans. Does he not understand that he is offending them? And that he is alienating them? He is marginalizing those viewers or trying to, and people don’t like to be treated that way. Does he really believe that those viewers will switch over to ABC or MSNBC to hear him rah-rah his reforms and watch those Twilight Zone “journalists” faun over him?
He keeps making these public appearances and campaign rallies to ONLY his supporters. Who does he think he’s winning over at these things? He can do his “fired up! ready to go!” crap to every union house and Obamatron-packed arena until he loses his voice, but he’s not winning over the people he needs to win over.
I’ll place a bet right now that ratings for his appearances will not exceed the ratings on Fox, during the same time periods. No one wants to hear him anymore. People have been suffering Obama-overload for months now. But an appearance on Fox would certainly make the viewers there feel like they were a segment of America he cared about talking to, also.
The truth is, they (we) are a segment of society he does not care about.
