2 Ads you never saw and probably never will see on network tv

If these don’t give you pause to think – nothing will.

This new ad, which features a chilling look at one potential future scenario if America continues on its current destructive fiscal trajectory, is a 2010 homage to “The Deficit Trials,” a 1986 ad that was produced by W.R. Grace & Co.  For those who were able to view it, the ad caused a sensation; it was considered so controversial at the time that the networks refused to run it.

J. Peter Grace, CAGW’s co-founder and the chairman of President Ronald Reagan’s Private Sector Survey on Cost Control (the Grace Commission), was alarmed about what the debt would do to future generations.  The national debt was $2 trillion in 1986, when “The Deficit Trials” ad was denied broadcast time; today the debt stands at $14 trillion and is projected to reach 140 percent of GDP in two decades, the time in which the new CAGW ad is set. The Donald at CPAC

Straight talk from Donald Trump at CPAC. You won’t ever hear any other candidate or elected official tell it like this. Just like Sarah Palin, this is another strong, no nonsense person. He doesn’t mince words or candy coat anything. He tells you what you want and need to hear. I have to wonder why Obama was so stupid to appoint Jeffery Immelt to his economic advisors when he could have gotten Trump – a man who REALLY does know about free markets and fair trade.

One of the best parts is when he talks about Obama and his unknown, secret past.

It’s less than 15 minutes long so I hope you listen.

It’s getting too late to jump ship

This is a must read.

According to that article, China owns 95% (other places I’ve read 97%, but who’s counting?) of rare earth metals and has bought up another 11% in the last year, probably in Africa.

Rare metals: cell phones, flat screen tv’s, computers, the Chevy Volt.

Ah, the Chevy Volt, with the $10,000 battery. Check that out and prove me wrong.

Soon it will be too late to jump the sinking ship of state.

And Obama wined and dined this dictator like he’s an ally. Oh wait – I guess he is now that we’ve tossed Britain and Israel off the boat.  But they should really consider themselves lucky to be off the USS Sinking America.

WikiLeaks confirms what everyone has thought

North Korea, currently embroiled in a knife’s edge confrontation with South Korea and the U.S., was able to smuggle 19 advanced, Russian-designed missiles, capable of delivering nuclear payloads, to Iran, according to a Feb. 24, 2010, cable detailing a meeting between Russian officials and a State Department nonproliferation expert. The shipment of some R-27 components was widely known in intelligence circles, but the WikiLeaks disclosures represent the first confirmation that Iran now possess complete missile systems.

Does this surprise anyone? Does it shock us that Iran is now capable of hitting Europe with missiles? It doesn’t surprise me. Is anyone surprised that Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, as well as Israel, has been begging us to take out Iran’s nuclear capabilities?
None of this stuff is earthshaking news. I am surprised that Silvio Berlusconi is palling around with Putin and I have to wonder what the pay-off for them both might be. Members of the EU should be wondering that, too.

Obama’s little red book

"Good Good Study, day day up." Whatever the hell that means...

"You ask me, me ask who?"

Friends of ours just returned from a trip to China and this is what they brought us. It’s a blank book but is  interspersed with illustrations of Obama and similar nonsensical phrases:

“Loves his mother who, who, who.”

“Pighead 3. Go dead.”

“You don’t bird me. I don’t bird you.”

“Have something to say, then say. Have nothing to say, go home!”

I love this one: Obama in an acron cap. It reads "Dear wang girl, first eye see you. I horse up love you."

Should he be flattered or is this some kind of Mandarin insult?

Learn to assume the postion, America.

Obama has succeeded in creating a culture of apology and appeasement in our government. How dare any one feel it necessary to apologize and explain to the Chinese – THE CHINESE –  decsions made in individual states?  In fact, what business is it of any other state, what Arizona does or does not do regarding their own sovereign rights to in act laws?

The state department felt it important to blast Arizona, “early and often” in human rights talks with China; as though this law has any similarity with the human rights violations that occur in China every single day. No, what’s really happening here is pandering to our loan shark. We are kneeling before the guys who hold our debt and therefore, hold our very future in their hands. The Chinese are dictating our foreign and domestic policy because they hold our debt.

Does it not bother anyone else that our money is backed by a communist regime that kills girl babies and forces sterilization on any one who bears more than one child? It doesn’t bother the Obama regime because this is the model that they want to emulate. Is it any wonder that Anita Dunn looks to Mao as her most admired political philosopher? Is it any wonder that Obama’s science czar, John Holdern, has advocated adding chemicals to the water to clandestinely sterilize Americans? He want so far as to say that illegitimate children should be taken from their mothers and if the mother wants to keep her baby, she must go through an adoption process:

One way to carry out this disapproval might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption—especially those born to minors, who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone. If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it. Adoption proceedings probably should remain more difficult for single people than for married couples, in recognition of the relative difficulty of raising children alone. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society.

These are the kinds of people who have taken over our government. These are the people who want to remake (transform) America into the image of red China. And this is the party that blames Conservatives for over-reaching into our bedrooms. Who really wants to be sitting on the edge of your bed or in the exam room with your doctor? It is certainly not conservatives who have supported this kind of intrusion.

We are becoming a culture of international submissives. The reason our founders came to America to begin with was to escape that exact thing in Europe. Now we are apologizing, bowing to and appeasing every nation on earth. When in reality, they should be thanking us for feeding them!

Almost earth shaking comments from Las Vegas’ own Steve Wynn

Wynn Las Vegas. Las Vegas and Steve Wynn's most spectacular casino/resort.

“It is not improbable or unrealistic considering so much of our revenue is from China that it makes sense that I spend most of my time here,” Wynn said in an interview with CNBC. “I’m seriously considering that and I am weighing the implications of how I engineer that.”

Now, if you’re a Las Vegan or a Nevadan, those are some scary words. Wynn is floating some kind of balloon with this comment, serious or not. And no one argues that corporate taxes are more friendly outside the United States, than in.

In a subsequent interview with Bloomberg News, Wynn said much of his desire to leave Las Vegas was because of the country’s economic direction set by Obama.

“The governmental policies in the United States of America are a damper, a wet blanket,” Wynn said. “They retard investment; they retard job formation; they retard the creation of a better life for the citizens in spite of the rhetoric of the president.”

I”m just guessing but I don’t think Wynn is a real big fan of Harry’s, either:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, speaking at a press conference on banking reform, was asked about Wynn’ comments on Obama’s policies.

“I’m not going to get into a dispute with Mr. Wynn, somebody who has done so much for Las Vegas, but I will say that taxes are at an all-time low. The tax picture he complained about is just not there.”

What planet do you live on, Harry? You big dummy.

Imagine the impact on the unions if Wynn actually did move his headquarters to China. No one would be more deserving of calamity just on the merits of their voting record alone.

Google – phoney, fake and outrageous!

Google‘s decision to take steps that may result in its having to leave China is an act of real courage and patriotism.

Google is threatening to leave China over the government’s censorship of the internet and violation of human rights. Yea, right.
Check this out:
Google these words – “christianity is” and see what the drop down menu is.
Then google the words “islam is” and see what happens.
What right does Google have to complain about censorship anywhere? And how does this make them appear courageous and patriotic?
Google= a bunch of leftist, pathetic  jerks!

Buy some kneepads. We won’t be bowing, we’ll be kneeling thanks to Obama.

Going to work fulltime has really messed up my ability to keep up on current events. There is just too much to read and catch up on after 3 days with virtually no Fox News – I”m just beginning a withdrawl process on day 3.

Watching a weeks worth of missed videos on PJTV today, I found one that really got me fired up. And after watching it I had to find the actual column they were talking about and read it for myself, here.

“In a world increasingly defined by the rise of the developing countries, most notably China, the United States was, in fact, in relative decline. It took the global financial crisis to begin to convince the U.S. that it could no longer take its global supremacy for granted. This dawning realisation has come desperately late in the day. Even now most of the country remains in denial. Never has a great power been less prepared or equipped to face its own decline.

Fortunately, in Barack Obama the nation has a president that possesses a rare characteristic for that office, humility.”

I have to agree with this writer. We are a nation in decline because we are a nation that is leaderless. And the man we have in the position of leadership only knows how to manipulate and not how to inspire. He believes like the writer and like many in the world that we are not exceptional, that we are not great and that we are  fundamentally a flawed nation. Obama began his administration, from day one, on bended knee, asking for the worlds forgiveness.

Yes, we are fortunate to have a head of state who is comfortable subordinating himself to our enemies and to the world at large.

Instead of building on the allies and friends in the world who admire us and value a relationship with us – like the former Soviet bloc nations – we are asking nations who have sworn themselves to our demise, to forgive us for our own greatness. Instead of aligning ourselves with the emerging democracies in Eastern Europe, we are begging for nations like Egypt and Syria to forgive  us.

The good news for the U.S. is that China will continue to place great emphasis on a good working relationship.”

The Good News? So we are now allowing another nation to set OUR agenda? A nation that makes a mockery of human rights? That imprisons descidents? A nation that controls even its own citizens procreation? We are humbling ourselves to this? Well, of course, we have to. They are now holding the purse strings and they control our financial security, or insecurity, however you choose to look at it.

… the role of the state is highly circumscribed and viewed with inherent suspicion by American society; in China the opposite is the case, not just in the communist period but over many centuries, with no obvious boundaries to its power and the state enjoying remarkable legitimacy and deference (even though not a single vote is cast).”

I find this whole statement offensive on several levels. Suspicion of the government is a healthy state of affairs in America. It’s whats made us a unique nation. As Thomas Jefferson said  “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”  Americans must be suspicious and vigilant of the elected, else we are tortured by the type of government we have now.

“Remarkable deference” enjoyed by oppressive communist regimes that have been responsible for the imprisonment and deaths of tens of millions, is nothing short of disgusting. Proudly boasting that “not a single vote is cast” is to disparage the tens of millions dead at the hands of the communists in China. It’s a great moment when one man-one vote is no longer a wonderful practice, at least to this columnist.

The goal of this columnist and others like Evan Thomas, is to demoralize the people and create a declining nation, if not in reality then at least  in the minds of the citizenry. They are preparing us for the third world nation that they envision for us.

The president is setting the tone for the next decade: bowing to dictators and promising billions of dollars (to aid in the fight against so-called global warming with money we don’t have and have to borrow from another totalitarian government)  to America hating marxist regimes – like for instance, Hugo Chavez. Hey, maybe they’ll like us better if we give them money!

We aren’t in the cool kids club yet… but give him 8 years and Obama’s going to bow and buy our way in.

He who controls the energy, controls the world

We are now beholding to China for most of our debt. Soon, we will be in debt to them for our energy because we can’t drill or explore our own resources, on our own land.

How does it feel, America, to no longer be a power broker in the world? To stand behind China?

We can thank Obama for making us a third rate nation in a mere 10 months.

demotivational-posters-rock-bottom

Prime Minister Wen Jiabao [China] pledged to grant African countries $10 billion in low-interest development loans over the next three years, to establish a $1 billion loan program for small and medium-size businesses, and to forgive the remaining debt on certain interest-free loans that China previously granted less-developed African nations.

[…]

One result is that China has become a major builder of Africa’s infrastructure, including railroads, highways and canals.

The loans and other overtures have turned China into one of Africa’s largest trading partners. Trade has soared to $106.8 billion last year from about $10 billion in 2000; Chinese direct investment in Africa leaped 81 percent in the first six months of this year, to $552 million, according to the Commerce Ministry.
