Call Assange’s bluff and take him down

I”m really sick and tired of this guy. He has documents that he is going to release piecemeal but he threatens that if he is arrested or shut down he will release them in a giant dump, I say release them in a giant dump and get it over with.

At this point we are most definitely dealing with a terrorist who is holding these documents (and potentially innocent people) hostage. He has now moved from being the self proclaimed harbinger of freedom and free speech to a thug of the worst order when he threatens the United States (and let’s face it, WE are his target) with this dump of information. This latest threat really shows his true colors. He’s an ordinary thug who is willing to put at risk people and nations to protect himself.

Why would we negotiate with him? Why should we?

And while I’m on this topic, who is aiding him? All this information did not come from one lonely, miserable PFC. Assange claims he has information damaging to BP and most probably Bank of America. One mischief making private didn’t give him all those documents. In fact, I find it hard to believe that this same private gave him the State department cables.

It’s time to release the dogs on Assange and bring him down. This little “sissy” irritant has had the headlines long enough and his attempts to intimidate and control American policy has to end.

Government take over of BP might be coming

This morning on Fox, Stuart Varney suggested a very scary scenario. Holder might very well be on his way to the gulf for more reasons than meetings with state AGs regarding litigation.  He suggested that this might be the beginning of a government take-over of the American arm of British Petroleum.

I think Obama has finally realized that this is a true emergency and I’m afraid that he’s going to take advantage of it by taking over BP.  Maybe Rahm explained it to him. But this could mean dramatic changes in the American oil industry. And this disaster will mean dramatic changes in oil exploration in this country, even without an Obama take-over.

Here it comes again – another EMERGENCY! But what about the oil spill?

The head master (Arne Duncan) wants $23billion in emergency funding for teachers. This is an emergency and don’t you be forgetting that. Everything, but the gulf oil spill, is an emergency to this goverment. But Congressman McCotter puts it in stark perspective for us:

“Fundamentally, what you’re seeing is the failure of the stimulus,” Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI), chairman of the Republican House Policy Committee, told Fox News.  “What we’re looking at here in Michigan is 14 percent unemployment; nationally, we’re looking at 9.9 percent.  We’ve seen a spike in jobless claims — all of which was supposed to have been prevented by the trillion dollars this administration already spent to ‘create or save’ jobs.

“When you look at the overall economy, that is really what undergirds the financing of education in the United States, both at the local level and at the state level.  So as Washington continues to try to go toward emergency measures, three things become patently obvious: One, the stimulus has failed.  Two, they’re delaying the real necessary restructuring of government that is required to have a sustainable tax base that is growing, for educators to be employed.  And third,” McCotter added with a flash of deadpan humor, “given the Democrats’ record number of deficits, debt and spending, there does auger an argument for more math teachers.”

This government has no idea what an emergency is. We have people losing their livelihoods, daily on the gulf due to the inability of BP to contain this catastrophe and Obama is taking a hands off approach. There’s a REAL emergency!  North Korea has attacked South Korea and we “are working to avoid an escalation” in the region. There’s a REAL emergency!

I believe that Obama really thought that all he had to do as president was TALK to people or throw money at them and they would change their ways. If he could just sit down and reason with these dictators (and he should know how since he envisions himself as one) he could make them want to work with us.

I’ve got a news flash for you – THEY DON’T LIKE US. And they never will.

And throwing more money at education and the teachers union, will not solve that “emergency” either.

Being the leader of the so-called “free-world” isn’t as easy as you thought, is it, Mr. President? You big marxist dummy!
