June 25th – Day of Action and Unity II. A chance to boycott white and Jewish owned businesses.

I guess the black activist’s Day of Action and Unity I, on April 23rd was so successful that a second one is planned in June.  Did you miss the first one, because I sure did. There is a  planned demonstration in front of a Harlem Jewish center as well as boycotts of Jewish and white businesses across the country and in some foreign nations, too.

[G]rassroots activist have selected such controversial locations such as the Weinberg Jewish Center, located at 5700 Park Heights Blvd. and also Platinum Jewelry in Harlem, New York, located at 326 W. 125th street, where the organizers plan to reach their goal of “boycotting all non-Black Businesses”.

The keynote speech of the Day of Action will be given by Dr. Malik Zulu Shabazz, Day of Action Co-Organizer, from Atlanta, Georgia at the Tupac Center in Dekalb County, Georgia. Mr. Shabazz is also Chairman of the New Black Panther Party and Black Lawyers for Justice. The speech will be broadcast live at 8pm Eastern at http://www.dayofactionmovement.org. Attorney Malik Shabazz has the support of Minister Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, and a litany of local activists and leaders. According to Shabazz, “the time of complacency, conservatism and apathy must end and we must understand that Blacks will continue to remain at the bottom in many critical areas if they don’t organize reverently to change their condition.”

Here is Malik Shabazz incriminating himself,  his New Black Panther party members and revising history:

Reverend Kenneth Glasgow of T.O.P.S (The Ordinary People’s Society, not to be confused with the other TOPS – Take Off Pounds Sensibly) said that “until we stand up and address the crisis that’s going on in the prison system and the lack of jobs and education in our communities we will continue to suffer and get no respect at the ballot box.”

St. Louis organizer Linea Baker says, “the mere fact that there is an African American in office has not changed our reality. We are really stuck on stupid if we don’t understand that symbolic power means nothing without mobilizing and organizing local communities across this nation.”

“The National Day of Action and Unity II” will bring to attention the plight of so many who are uneducated, exploited, behind prison walls, disunited, in poor health, homeless, victims of police brutality, pimped by crooked politicians, tortured, falsely accused, under developed, morally perverse, apathetic, addicted to drugs and alcohol, victims of harsh budget cuts and genocide. Special attention will be given to victims of neo-colonialism, corrupt governments, imperialism, zionism, capitalism and inadequate concern for the Diaspora of Africa.

Our Demands Are Immediate And Non-Negotiable

This event is being sponsored by Students and Youth, members of many of Black Church, the New Black Panther Party, Nation of Islam, National Black United Front, National Action Network, The Ordinary Peoples Society (T.O.P.S.), and a long list of local organizations.

So what do you suppose their demands will be?
Is this the kind of unity TheOne promised us? I remember the media proclaiming him to be the first post-racial president.
Anyone want to put money on whether Van Jones will be part of this? I didn’t think so. It’s a sure bet he’ll be at one of these cities.
What has the Jewish community done to them besides fight with them in the 1960’s for civil rights  and end up murdered in the process?
I wonder how many of these black activists have ever done business with the Platinum Jewelry Store in Harlem?
What this president has accomplished is empowering the entirely wrong element of the Black and Hispanic community: the most dangerous and destructive fringes of our society.

One more reason to boycott ABC – blacklisting Breitbart

From pressure by the left to silence diverse voices, ABC is apparently caving in to the likes of Media Matters and the Huffington Post.

I was personally surprised when I read that Breitbart and Dana Loesch would be part of the election coverage on ABC. Why on earth would anyone want to lend credibilty to the likes of George Stephanopolus? (I probably misspelled his name, but guess what – I don’t care.)

My thinking is that the 3 networks should remain leftist. It gives America a choice – propaganda  and lies or fairly balanced news on Fox. Their ratings keep falling and they will never catch up with cable news (make that Fox) so they will eventually die off. All that will be left of network tv will be insipid sit-coms.

I say leave them to their own demise.

But I’m still going to try and annoy them daily with my morning boycott email.

Intolerance of Conservative women – by women. My boycott continues.

Where are the so-called women’s groups defending these women? The National Organization of Women actually endorsed Meg Whitman’s opponent after the wh*re comment and only after some teeth-pulling by the media did they come out against the Gawker attack on Christine O’Donnell (originally NOW spokespeople said twice they were “passing” on the story).

Perhaps more importantly, where in the world are the ABC executives denouncing Joy Behar’s unprofessional and misogynic rant against Sharron Angle? Might as well put them in the same category as NPR for their firing Juan Williams. ABCs silence is a disgusting show of intolerance towards conservative women.

Joy Behar needs to be fired, immediately. Are ABC executives hiding under their desks, afraid of her wrath? Get over it and do the right thing.

I’m keeping up my boycott and daily letter writing to The View and ABC – although I never watch either, they don’t know that.  You can write to ABC and complain, too. If Walters has no more control over her “colleagues” than this, she shouldn’t have a show.

This is not all about Sharron Angle, either. We’ve all seen the clips of Behar attacking Sarah Palin over the last almost 3 years. Behar is nothing but Garafalo -sorta-light. These are mean, hateful, spiteful women who lack any semblance of class and should not be in a position where younger women look to them as role-models.

In short, they are school-yard bullies and need to be taken off the air. And if taking them off the air is not possible then let’s all just turn them off!

Behar: Palin is “so dumb”

there are hundreds of these on Youtube:

Have we not had enough of this hate speech from the left? They get by with this over and over and over again and no one calls them on it. But let a conservative say some of these things and we’d be crucified.

Speaking for myself, I’ve HAD ENOUGH! We have got to call them out on this!

Ghostsouls and I are not giving this up. Our boycott calls continue . . .

Ghostsouls has compiled a list of advertisers to ABC. This was a pretty good undertaking and I really appreciate her time and efforts. At the bottom of this list are contact web pages to leave a complaint with the particular advertiser. I hope you will take a minute and send a letter to of complaint to them regarding The View and Joy Behar in particular.

I’ve had a total of 85 views to that original boycott post and 22 clicks on the ABC complaint site. It’s not much but it’s a start. I’d love to see this anti-Christian, anti-American woman off the show and better yet but not possible, The View off television. Behar is the most hateful, mean-spirited person on television and trying to hide behind the “I’m a comedienne” line just doesn’t cut it.

I just watched the last 20 minutes of The View and yes, it was torture to do so and the first time I’ve ever seen it. These are a list of the advertisers with their web pages, just in the last 20 minutes of the show:

Bounty

PlaySkool – I could not find a relevant complaint contact page for this

Head and Shoulders

Nabisco – I could not find a relevant complaint contact page for this one either

Toys “R” Us

Clinique

We can play their game. Boycott advertisers on The View and demand Behar be removed.

There’s been a months long boycott of Beck. It’s time we start boycotting the anti-Christian, profanity laden, left wing show on ABC. There is no redeeming value on this show unless you call that token Conservative, and although she is a good person and tries to hold her own, she’s still token – whatever her name is.

I’ve never been a fan of boycotting but if this is the only way to fight these people, then it’s what has to be done.

Write to ABC here. I did and feel much better for doing so.

I’ll be checking out who the advertisers are and I’ll list them on my blog.

Already rethinking that Arizona boycott

From the Los Angeles Times:

Two much-debated City Hall issues are expected to converge this week when the Los Angeles Police Department’s red light camera program moves to the front of the line for an exemption from the city’s contracting boycott of Arizona over that state’s new immigration enforcement law.

On Tuesday, the City Council is scheduled to consider — and appears likely to approve — an exception to the boycott allowing a 10-month extension of a multimillion-dollar agreement with Scottsdale-based American Traffic Solutions.

The firm operates cameras at 32 city intersections that catch tens of thousands of red light violators each year. The council’s Public Safety Committee says the exception is justified because red light cameras provide a “significant benefit to public safety.”
