One more reason to boycott ABC – blacklisting Breitbart

From pressure by the left to silence diverse voices, ABC is apparently caving in to the likes of Media Matters and the Huffington Post.

I was personally surprised when I read that Breitbart and Dana Loesch would be part of the election coverage on ABC. Why on earth would anyone want to lend credibilty to the likes of George Stephanopolus? (I probably misspelled his name, but guess what – I don’t care.)

My thinking is that the 3 networks should remain leftist. It gives America a choice – propaganda  and lies or fairly balanced news on Fox. Their ratings keep falling and they will never catch up with cable news (make that Fox) so they will eventually die off. All that will be left of network tv will be insipid sit-coms.

I say leave them to their own demise.

But I’m still going to try and annoy them daily with my morning boycott email.

Intolerance of Conservative women – by women. My boycott continues.

Where are the so-called women’s groups defending these women? The National Organization of Women actually endorsed Meg Whitman’s opponent after the wh*re comment and only after some teeth-pulling by the media did they come out against the Gawker attack on Christine O’Donnell (originally NOW spokespeople said twice they were “passing” on the story).

Perhaps more importantly, where in the world are the ABC executives denouncing Joy Behar’s unprofessional and misogynic rant against Sharron Angle? Might as well put them in the same category as NPR for their firing Juan Williams. ABCs silence is a disgusting show of intolerance towards conservative women.

Joy Behar needs to be fired, immediately. Are ABC executives hiding under their desks, afraid of her wrath? Get over it and do the right thing.

I’m keeping up my boycott and daily letter writing to The View and ABC – although I never watch either, they don’t know that.  You can write to ABC and complain, too. If Walters has no more control over her “colleagues” than this, she shouldn’t have a show.

This is not all about Sharron Angle, either. We’ve all seen the clips of Behar attacking Sarah Palin over the last almost 3 years. Behar is nothing but Garafalo -sorta-light. These are mean, hateful, spiteful women who lack any semblance of class and should not be in a position where younger women look to them as role-models.

In short, they are school-yard bullies and need to be taken off the air. And if taking them off the air is not possible then let’s all just turn them off!

Ghostsouls and I are not giving this up. Our boycott calls continue . . .

Ghostsouls has compiled a list of advertisers to ABC. This was a pretty good undertaking and I really appreciate her time and efforts. At the bottom of this list are contact web pages to leave a complaint with the particular advertiser. I hope you will take a minute and send a letter to of complaint to them regarding The View and Joy Behar in particular.

I’ve had a total of 85 views to that original boycott post and 22 clicks on the ABC complaint site. It’s not much but it’s a start. I’d love to see this anti-Christian, anti-American woman off the show and better yet but not possible, The View off television. Behar is the most hateful, mean-spirited person on television and trying to hide behind the “I’m a comedienne” line just doesn’t cut it.

I just watched the last 20 minutes of The View and yes, it was torture to do so and the first time I’ve ever seen it. These are a list of the advertisers with their web pages, just in the last 20 minutes of the show:

Bounty

PlaySkool – I could not find a relevant complaint contact page for this

Head and Shoulders

Nabisco – I could not find a relevant complaint contact page for this one either

Toys “R” Us

Clinique

We can play their game. Boycott advertisers on The View and demand Behar be removed.

There’s been a months long boycott of Beck. It’s time we start boycotting the anti-Christian, profanity laden, left wing show on ABC. There is no redeeming value on this show unless you call that token Conservative, and although she is a good person and tries to hold her own, she’s still token – whatever her name is.

I’ve never been a fan of boycotting but if this is the only way to fight these people, then it’s what has to be done.

Write to ABC here. I did and feel much better for doing so.

I’ll be checking out who the advertisers are and I’ll list them on my blog.

Klavan: It doesn’t get too much better than this!

~~~ooOoo~~~
Does anyone still believe this guy? Seriously.
“Here’s my assessment of not just the vote in Massachusetts, but the mood around the country: the same thing that swept Scott Brown into office swept me into office,” the president said in an exclusive interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos. “People are angry and they are frustrated. Not just because of what’s happened in the last year or two years, but what’s happened over the last eight years.”
Yep people are angry. But you still don’t understand why. You want to blame it on “what’s happened over the last eight years” or in other words, George Bush. And that’s a big reason people are pissed off. You don’t own anything that’s gone wrong. It’s ALWAYS Bush’s fault.
“If there’s one thing that I regret this year is that we were so busy just getting stuff done and dealing with the immediate crises that were in front of us that I think we lost some of that sense of speaking directly to the American people about what th eir core values are and why we have to make sure those institutions are matching up with those values,” Obama told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos in an exclusive interview at the White House.
Crises? What crises? Health care wasn’t a crisis until YOU told us it was. No one would disagree that there is room for improvements but no one signed on for becoming Great Britain.
The president said he made a mistake in assuming that if he focused on policy decisions, the American people would understand the reasoning behind them.
Oh but Mr.President, we aren’t capable of understanding your majestic intellect. What a conceited, arrogant, self-absorbed person you are!
“That I do think is a mistake of mine,” Obama said. “I think the assumption was if I just focus on policy, if I just focus on this provision or that law or if we’re making a good rational decision here, then people will get it.”
What you really thought was that you could baffle us with bullshit and we’d just go right along and off the cliff for you.
You’re a chameleon. You’re going to Ohio today on your JOBS road show and you think people are going to believe you are sincere? Do you seriously believe that we will buy this change in course? All of a sudden you CARE about our unemployed?
You really do believe one thing, you believe that Americans are stupid and easily led. I can understand that, since you got elected, after all.
ACORN Watch: A “Sting”-ing Indictment of Media Hypocrisy
by Michelle Malkin/Townhall.com
Undercover journalism is only acceptable when it fits a liberal agenda. That is the message from “professional” reporters and left-wing activists outraged about three successful video stings targeting President Obama’s old friends at the left-wing tax-subsidized outfit ACORN.
Conservative documentarian James O’Keefe and writer Hannah Giles, working for the BigGovernment.com website, posed as a pimp and prostitute during visits to ACORN offices in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Brooklyn. ACORN housing officials and tax advisers offered them brazen suggestions on how to lie on their applications, disguise their income, obscure their child sex-ring business and hide cash from abusive johns. (“When you buy the house with the backyard, you get a tin,” an ACORN counselor in New York told Giles, “and you bury it down in there, cover it and put the grass over it.”)
Summing up the ACORN Housing Corporation philosophy, another Brooklyn ACORN official told the undercover pair bluntly: “Honesty is not going to get you the house.”
ACORN spokesman Scott Levenson blasted the investigation as “gotcha journalism.” Echoing ACORN’s defenders, MSNBC anchor Norah O’Donnell fretted on Tuesday that Giles and O’Keefe’s methods “might be viewed as entrapment. That some conservative activists used hidden cameras to get this stuff on camera.”
O’Donnell has apparently forgotten the inglorious history of news “entrapment” by her betters at NBC News.
This is the network that surreptitiously rigged GM pickup trucks in staged crash tests in 1993 to show that the vehicles were unsafe — and failed to inform viewers that the simulations used incendiary devices to ignite the explosions. Jane Pauley admitted in a nationally televised apology that “NBC’s contractor did put incendiary devices under the trucks to ensure there would be a fire if gasoline were released from the gas tank. NBC personnel knew this before we aired the program, but the public was not informed because consultants at the scene told us the devices did not start the fire. We agree with GM that we should have told the viewer about these devices.”
This is the network that pioneered the “To Catch a Predator” series — an investigative sting operation to nab Internet pedophiles. Until last year, the journalists worked with activist group Perverted Justice, whose members posed as children in web chat rooms to lure alleged pedophiles to a residential home.
This is the network that sent out an intrepid NBC News reporter in a canoe to cover treacherous New Jersey flooding in 2005 — only to be shown up by passers-by who sloshed in front of the camera and demonstrated that the water was only a few inches deep.
This is the network that tried to arrange Islamophobia stings at NASCAR events in 2006 to try to “expose” racism among Southerners. The network worked with a Muslim activist who sent a recruitment notice across the Internet:
“I have been talking with a producer of the NBC Dateline show, and he is in the process of filming a piece on anti-Muslim and anti-Arab discrimination in the USA. They are looking for some Muslim male candidates for their show who would be willing to go to non-Muslim gatherings and see if they attract any discriminatory comments or actions while being filmed. … NBC is willing to fly in someone and cover their weekend expenses. The filming would take place all day on Saturday and Sunday.”
The same sting tactics were adopted by ABC News’ Primetime Live news show in Alabama and Texas.
“Professional” undercover journalists see their work as serving the public and national interests, exposing wrongdoing, and blowing the whistle on illicit activities that would not otherwise see the light of day. But this is exactly what the ACORN stings have done.
Taxpayers deserve to know how ACORN and its vast web of nonprofit, tax-exempt affiliates are using their money (40 percent of the group’s revenue comes from the government). The flagship group trains publicly funded ACORN tax advisers and mortgage counselors across the country. In fact, ACORN is now managing apartments in Bedford-Stuyvesant, N.Y., for the newly completed Atlantic Avenue Apartments. Yet, ACORN Housing Corporation has a long history of abusing federal housing funds and AmeriCorps grants for political activities.
Head-in-the-sand ABC News anchor Charles Gibson claimed he “didn’t know” about the ACORN scandal this week and snarked that “maybe this is just one you leave to the cables.”
Giles and O’Keefe’s investigations (and there are more to come, according to BigGovernment.com’s Andrew Breitbart) have exposed not one but two protection rackets: ACORN’s — and the ostrich media’s.
Investigations and questions and rambling thoughts
Why did those 7 democrats vote against cutting off funds to ACORN? Should they be part of an investigation?
Not only should no one expect, but they should not want the DOJ and Eric Holder to investigate ACORN. We all saw what happened to the Black Panther case in Pennsylvania. An outside, independent investigation must be demanded.
Why has the Twilight Zone media ignored this story? Why did they ignore the Van Jones story?
Does Obama not see how divisive he is when he boycotts Fox News Sunday but makes the rounds of all the other networks? Does he not see that he is preaching to his own choir and pissing away the chance to change the minds of Fox viewers regarding his healthcare reform? (Not that he could change minds, but he’s not even going to try.)
By ignoring Fox News, he is ignoring a huge number of Americans. Does he not understand that he is offending them? And that he is alienating them? He is marginalizing those viewers or trying to, and people don’t like to be treated that way. Does he really believe that those viewers will switch over to ABC or MSNBC to hear him rah-rah his reforms and watch  those Twilight Zone “journalists” faun over him?
He keeps making these public appearances and campaign rallies to ONLY his supporters. Who does he think he’s winning over at these things? He can do his “fired up! ready to go!” crap to every union house and Obamatron-packed arena until he loses his voice, but he’s not winning over the people he needs to win over.
I’ll place a bet right now that ratings for his appearances will not exceed the ratings on Fox, during the same time periods. No one wants to hear him anymore. People have been suffering Obama-overload for months now. But an appearance on Fox would certainly make the viewers there feel like they were a segment of America he cared about talking to, also.
The truth is, they (we) are a segment of society he does not care about.
