Coins Costing Taxpayers? | Video – ABC News.

This came in my email – I don’t watch network news. But this is pretty astounding.

Krauthammer: The left lost the American people

If you didn’t see O’Reilly last night, you missed a great commentary by Charles Krauthammer.

You can watch it at Real Clear Politics. The second best part is that O’Reilly actually shut the hell up and let Charles speak for a change!

The best part is what Charles says about the desperation of the fanatical left.

Increase in anti-Christian violence is the real under-reported story

Wasn’t it Katie Couric who said that the most underreported story of last year was the rise in Islamophobia in America? I think many Christians would disagree with her.  But at least the president of France is speaking out firmly; not so our own president who himself claims to be a Christian.

We cannot accept and thereby facilitate what looks more and more like a particularly wicked programme of cleansing in the Middle East, religious cleansing,” [Nicolas Sarkozy, president of France] said in an annual New Year’s address to religious leaders.

An attack on a Coptic church in the Egyptian city of Alexandria on January 1 killed 21 people.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for that attack, which came after threats published online against Egypt’s Copts from an Al-Qaeda-linked group in Iraq which had said it was behind a deadly assault on a church in Baghdad in October.

Forty-four worshippers and two priests died in the attack on a Syriac Catholic church in Baghdad in October, the worst of a series of attacks against Christians in Iraq.

Police in France and several other European countries have boosted security at Coptic churches which were due to celebrate Christmas on Friday, according to the eastern Orthodox church calendar.

Pope Benedict predicts a mass exodus of Christians from the Middle East and Africa due to the increase of violence and murder:

Benedict singled out the “reprehensible attack” on a Baghdad cathedral during Mass in October, killing two priests and more than 50 other worshippers, as well as attacks on private homes that “spread fear within the Christian community and (create) a desire on the part of many to emigrate in search of a better life.”

The Vatican voiced concerns that the steady flight of Christians from Iraq will effectively eliminate the ancient community there.

“At present, Christians are the religious group which suffers most from persecution on account of its faith,” the pontiff asserted, and cited Christian communities suffering from violence and intolerance particularly in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Holy Land.

He blasted what he called “more sophisticated forms of hostility to religion, which, in Western countries, occasionally find expression in a denial of history and the rejection of religious symbols which reflect the identity and the culture of the majority of its citizens.”

A Christmas message from Bill Whittle

Terrifying video of things to come? from the National Inflation Association

I belong to the NIA email list and get updates from them regularly. Today I saw Beck mention this site on his show. I have posted videos from this site in the past, specifically MeltDown.

I kept wanting to stop and post at several points in this video until I heard the part about e-cigarettes. I had to stop it long enough to post.

I just bought these electronic cigarettes because we have a new baby coming into our home. Now, I understand from this video that the government is trying to make them illegal.

You want to  make some extra money recycling your plastic and aluminum? They will take your picture and make you sign documents. Planning a garage sale? Permits are required and you very well might get fined.

This is the most appalling video I’ve seen in ages.  It’s over an hour long, as you can see, but worth every minute of watching.

Much of this you already know or have already heard about, but it’s worth the watch. Gerald Celente of Trends Research is featured in this film. I’ve posted about him before.

Please watch, even if you have to watch it in parts. We should be very afraid.

Links from Breitbarts Big sites: The Army You Have now producing videos

This weekend, the band, The Army You Have is planning a video shoot of this song. These are some of the great folks that I met on the blog talk radio show, Stage Right. Stage Right (whose real name is Larry O’Connor) is a blogger at Andrew Breitbart’s Big sites, mostly at Big Hollywood.

One of their other songs is “Yosi needs a hug”. Yosi Sargent was part of the attempted collusion between the National Endowment for the Arts, sycophant artists and the Obama administration that was uncovered and reported on the Big sites several months ago by Patrick Courrielche.

You can read more indepth on the story behind “See  you in November” here.

Beck to launch new website – TheBlaze.com

Glenn Beck

The Blaze, Beck’s new site is launching today. His website editor is Scott Baker, formerly of Breitbart.tv and “The B-Cast.”

From Mediaite:

We talked to [Scott] Baker today about what readers can expect from the new site, the team behind it and more. “It’ll be news and information,” he told Mediaite. “Some commentary and opinion stories we’re interested in that are being under-covered or not covered.”

People will inevitably make the comparison to Arianna Huffington – whether Beck’s role as figurehead behind the site will make The Blaze into a conservative Huffington Post. “The one thing pretty clear around Mercury [Beck’s company] is that Glenn is not short on ideas or hesitant on input,” Baker said. “His input is already evident in how the site looks, and that’s what will continue. It will be a continual flow of tips and suggestions and encouragement.”

Beck’s message on his new site:

But there comes a time when you have to stop complaining and do something. And so we decided to hire some actual journalists to launch a new website — The Blaze. And we moved fast. We built the team and the site in just two months.

We want this to be a place where you can find breaking news, original reporting, insightful opinions and engaging videos about the stories that matter most.

The Blaze will be about current news — and more. It’s not just politics and policy. It’s looking for insight wherever we find it. We’ll examine our culture, deal with matters of faith and family, and we won’t be afraid of a history lesson.
