Wall St. Squatters – like the Tea Party? I don’t think so!

This is like the tea party?

Someone needs a reality check if this can be compared to the Tea Party.

There is no comparison – NONE. Tea party people don’t crap on police cars. They don’t prod and provoke the police. They don’t leave trash when they go home.  And they go home at the end of the day because they have LIVES and jobs.

Tea party people bring lawn chairs and bottled water and signs for the day and then they LEAVE. They don’t stay and make the neighbors lives miserable with drum circles and chants. They don’t stay and harm the economy of the small business people in the area.  And when they leave,  they leave it cleaner than when they arrived.

Finally, the stupid Mayor is coming to his senses. Be sure and watch the video at this site too:

NEW YORK — Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Friday accused the Wall Street demonstrators of trying to cripple New York City’s economy.

“What they’re trying to do is take the jobs away from people working in this city,” the mayor declared in his harshest criticism of the three-week-old protest that has caught the attention of the nation.

“They’re trying to take away the tax base we have because none of this is good for tourism.”

Although he expressed sympathy for “some of their complaints,” Bloomberg warned that addressing them has to be accomplished “without hurting people and making the problem worse.”

“If the jobs they are trying to get rid of in this city — the people that work in finance, which is a big part of our economy — we’re not going to have any money to pay our municipal employees or clean the blocks or anything else.”

The mayor’s comments came in response to a caller to his WOR Radio show who asked what the city intended to do about the protest headquarters in Zuccotti Park, which is near her apartment and where hundreds of people are camped out.

“What about my rights to use the park?” asked the caller, named Marsha.

“This is a little bit of greenery that we reclaimed after Sept. 11. It’s not usable. There is a general sense of incivility down there. But worst of all are the drums and the shouting. I know they’ve agreed to stop the drumming. Last night they were drumming until 10:45. Someone did a little practice drumming this morning at 7:50.”

“We couldn’t agree more,” replied the mayor.

“We are trying to deal with this in a way that doesn’t make the problem grow and protects everybody’s rights.”

He hinted that the city is hoping the protest peters out on its own.

“I think we let some of this — not play out, isn’t quite the right word, but let them express themselves,” said Bloomberg.

President Barack Obama on Thursday defended the protesters, saying they expressed “the frustrations that the American people feel. People are frustrated and the protesters are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works.”

Finally vetting our racist president?

I have to wonder how long the MSM will continue to ignore and refuse to finally vet this guy.

Forget this day at our peril

God will punish us if we ever forget the innocent people in these planes and buildings.

Two years ago, TheOne signed into law a remaking of this day into a National Day of Service.  3000 people died and we are supposed to recognize this as a day of service?  Is that some kind of sick joke?

His plan was to “erase this day from our psyche” and remake it into something that makes no sense to Americans who need to grieve, who need to remember.  It was just one of the many despicable things, but probably the most despicable, that this man has done since he took over the WH.

Now, today we have Obama’s cheerleader in chief, Paul Krugman in the NYT say that 9/11 has become “an occassion for [national] shame.”

What happened after 9/11 — and I think even people on the right know this, whether they admit it or not — was deeply shameful. T[h]e atrocity should have been a unifying event, but instead it became a wedge issue. Fake heroes like Bernie Kerik, Rudy Giuliani, and, yes, George W. Bush raced to cash in on the horror. And then the attack was used to justify an unrelated war the neocons wanted to fight, for all the wrong reasons.

Shame on him. Shame on his president.

This day will forever be a day of mourning for Americans, no matter what they try to do or what they say about it.

We will never forget.

********

It would be good to read or reread the American Spectator column by Matthew Vadum in 2009.  I linked to it above. This is a walk down memory lane from only 2 years ago and it was shades of things to come from this WH, as well.

The atheists obsession with Christians

[I]t’s odd that they [atheists] will condemn politicians like Bachmann for bringing God into a political discussion, yet they throw their support behind leaders like President Barack Obama, a Christian who says that he is opposed to gay marriage because “God is in the mix”. (A weak attempt at making his Christianity sound cool).

Hmm, Michele Bachmann is crazy for thinking that there is a God who backs her political agenda but President Obama is just fine even though he’s against letting consenting adults who love each other marry because the same God says no?

Why is it that so many atheists who feel that anyone who believes in God is delusional and should seek help support leaders like President Obama? If believing in God is a sign of mental illness, would you really want a man who is suffering from this delusion to have a nuclear arsenal at his disposal?

One reason is that, like many Republicans, they don’t really believe that Obama is a Christian. Not surprising, considering that this is the man who said that guns and God were something for bitter, small town Americans to fall back on when he said that “they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them.” – Daniel James Hayden IV

For Americans, Failure is Not Inevitable

In a speech to the Heritage Foundation, Victor Davis Hanson said that “decline is a choice.” He’s right. As Americans, we can choose to do nothing and fade into a black hole or we can choose not to and come out even shinier and sharper.

We have been told for over 2 years, by this president that we are not exceptional, that we do not deserve the wealth (as a nation and as individuals) that we have earned. We see it in the movies and on television: we are not the good guys anymore. Americans are evil and greedy, we are gluttons, we are wasteful, fat and bloated.  This is the message we are hearing from our so-called leaders, from the celebrities that we (falsely) admire, and from the educators in academia whose salaries we pay.

This message is not new coming from teachers or celebrities – we’ve been hearing that for decades from those corners – but it is new coming from our nation’s leader.

It is new for Americans to see a president bow to monarchs. A president who not only feels submissive to the rest of the world but wants to make the nation so, as well. In his warped mind, he believes it. He’s not proud to be an American and as all Americans know, his wife has only once been proud to be one.

Obama bowing to the Saudi king/WND.com

I believe that he is preparing us for the fall that he is creating. I believe that he wants us to feel unworthy of our place in the world so that when he ushers us into 3rd world status, we will be not only prepared but, feel deserving of that place.

The man who said he was going to be a unifier has divided us further. We are more polarized as a nation now, than since the Civil War. From his first missteps (“the police acted stupidly”) to his latest (“I’m here. Congress should stay here too” as he prepares for a weekend at Camp David and a vacation in Martha’s Vineyard and another round of golf on Sunday) he has proven himself to be completely out of touch with the people who put him there – and the people who didn’t put him there but who he represents.

Obama’s uplifting message (Yes We Can!) has become one of misery and depression. He’s produced a national gloom that we must shake off before we become forever mired in this depression.

We do not have to accept his vision of America in decline. It’s a choice. We must stand up and celebrate being citizens of the greatest nation and society mankind has ever known.

The time is now.

US lists Israel as terror sponsor

From DickMorris.com

Doubtless some politically correct soul at ICE or in the State Department felt that the U.S. needed to show impartiality in making up its list and include non-Muslim countries. What better rebuttal to those who would claim that the ICE is profiling Muslims than to say that Israel is also on the list?

I keep saying this: if Obama really wants to be re-elected, he sure has a strange way of going about it.

Please share with your Jewish friends, especially those who voted for him before.

The fugly DNC chairwoman calls for the resignation of the fugly congressman

From CNN:

Wasserman Schultz released the following statement:

“It is with great disappointment that I call on Representative Anthony Weiner to resign. The behavior he has exhibited is indefensible and Representative Weiner’s continued service in Congress is untenable. This sordid affair has become an unacceptable distraction for Representative Weiner, his family, his constituents and the House – and for the good of all, he should step aside and address those things that should be most important – his and his family’s well-being.”

Well, I’d say his days  are numbered. And personally, I hate to see him out of office. I think he’d be a real gift to the Republicans for the next 18 months.  Pelosi will be the next one to issue a statement and by Sunday night, he’ll have resigned – or at least I’m betting so.

And more at Mediaite.com from Andrew Breitbart on Fox and Friends today. I just don’t see how he can make it through the weekend … or through his marriage, for that matter.

Seriously, even democrats have to agree that trolling the internet for underage girls is unacceptable and illegal.

This story is moving faster than my fingers can keep up. Pelosi has issued her statement within minutes of that fugly DNC chairwoman. Others have also.

Update from HotAir  H/t Voting Female Speaks:

That fanatic attachment to power, even at the price of seeing his dignity shredded in the media day after day, is one of the creepiest parts of this story.

Anti-Semetism: San Francisco’s circumcision ballot question

Now there’s proof positive that the circumcision ban in San Fransisco it anti-Semetic.

If the measure passes, circumcision would be prohibited among males under the age of 18. The practice would become a misdemeanor offense punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 or up to one year in jail. There would be no religious exemptions.  (emphasis mine) YahooNews.com

For a city that has bragged on it’s tolerance and progressive ideology, this is nothing short of being anit-Semetic, as well as anti-Muslim and unConstitutional.

This is blatant anti-Semetism and to make it worse (or more obvious) take a look at the cartoon from Zombie at PajamasMedia.com.  (H/t Ace of Spades, who also has a great blog about this, complete with a Beck radio clip.) This is appalling and amazing at the same time.

Who’s in charge of PR for this anti-circ drive?

To add insult to injury (if that’s possible) according to Zombie, the cartoonists name is Hess.  Shades of Nazi Germany.

If that isn’t Jew hatred, I’m a Chinese astronaut.

And everyone seems to have forgotten that Muslims require circumcision at age 12.

Female genital cutting, a controversial practice that usually involves the removal of the clitoris, is illegal in the United States. A circumcision ban would simply extend the same protections to males, [Lloyd] Schofield [spearheading this ballot initiative] said.

Here, we are talking about 2 separate things. A circumcision does not prevent male pleasure during sex. It does not prevent a man from experiencing an orgasm.  A clitorectomy all but eliminates that pleasure for a female.  Therefore there’s no comparison between the 2 proceedures. One is mutilation, (not controversial) to any thinking person. The other is a CHOICE, usually by parents, or it’s a religious requirement.  Which brings us back full circle to anti-Semetism and Constitutional rights.

This is going to be tied up in the courts for a long time and in the end, the whole thing will be a waste of time and lots of money. This is unConstitutional on several levels. Not to mention it’s Jew hatred at it’s most obvious.

Shame on all of the people who are supporting this.

Big Government’s Ron Futrell uncovers the true Weiner hacker

This is an absolute must read!

And those of you who are from my part of the world – yes, that’s the same Ron Futrell who did sports on Denver TV.
