Forget this day at our peril

God will punish us if we ever forget the innocent people in these planes and buildings.

Two years ago, TheOne signed into law a remaking of this day into a National Day of Service.  3000 people died and we are supposed to recognize this as a day of service?  Is that some kind of sick joke?

His plan was to “erase this day from our psyche” and remake it into something that makes no sense to Americans who need to grieve, who need to remember.  It was just one of the many despicable things, but probably the most despicable, that this man has done since he took over the WH.

Now, today we have Obama’s cheerleader in chief, Paul Krugman in the NYT say that 9/11 has become “an occassion for [national] shame.”

What happened after 9/11 — and I think even people on the right know this, whether they admit it or not — was deeply shameful. T[h]e atrocity should have been a unifying event, but instead it became a wedge issue. Fake heroes like Bernie Kerik, Rudy Giuliani, and, yes, George W. Bush raced to cash in on the horror. And then the attack was used to justify an unrelated war the neocons wanted to fight, for all the wrong reasons.

Shame on him. Shame on his president.

This day will forever be a day of mourning for Americans, no matter what they try to do or what they say about it.

We will never forget.

It would be good to read or reread the American Spectator column by Matthew Vadum in 2009.  I linked to it above. This is a walk down memory lane from only 2 years ago and it was shades of things to come from this WH, as well.

Radical Islam webinar with Dr. Zuhdi Jasser

If you’re interested and have an hour tomorrow, you might want to sign up for this webcast; Dealing with Radical Islam in the US.

Dr. Jasser is the featured speaker.

There ought to be a law…

"The WTC cross has become a Christian icon," said Dave Silverman, president of the atheist group. "It has been blessed by so-called holy men and presented as a reminder that their god, who couldn't be bothered to stop the Muslim terrorists or prevent 3,000 people from being killed in his name, cared only enough to bestow upon us some rubble that resembles a cross. It's a truly ridiculous assertion." from CNN. (Thanks to my friend in GA for sending to me!)

US lists Israel as terror sponsor

From DickMorris.com

Doubtless some politically correct soul at ICE or in the State Department felt that the U.S. needed to show impartiality in making up its list and include non-Muslim countries. What better rebuttal to those who would claim that the ICE is profiling Muslims than to say that Israel is also on the list?

I keep saying this: if Obama really wants to be re-elected, he sure has a strange way of going about it.

Please share with your Jewish friends, especially those who voted for him before.

Who’s your daddy? The entire ruling class, it seems.

It’s pretty damned patronizing of the ruling class and the president to tell us that we “don’t need to see the photos.” Who are they to decide what we “need” to see and what we don’t?  And as Ann Coulter said, these people who are telling us what we “don’t need to see” are all people who have already seen the photos.

How dare you put yourselves in the position of daddy-ing us? That includes republicans who are falling in lockstep with this thinking, as well.

At least 80% of the American people have been waiting for this day to come and now we are told that we can’t “spike our football.” Does this mean excessive celebration in the end zone (Ground Zero) is unbecoming of Americans?

I’ll gladly take the 10 yard penalty to be assessed at the kick-off.

Stop treating us like children who can’t understand everything from our enormous national debt to the propriety of (an honest to God) head shot.  I think we can take seeing it. After all, nearly 10 years ago we watched planes full of people crash into buildings full of people, many of whom jumped to their deaths and another plane full of heros who downed it in a field rather than allow it to be used as another missile. We’ve been seeing youtube videos of al Qaeda animals beheading Americans numerous times over the last 10 years.

I think we can handle seeing a photo of a dead bin Laden. I think we deserve to excessively celebrate seeing it.

Now show us the damned photo!

Technology gives us the Osama news

Unknowingly, an IT guy in Abbottabad tweeted the attack on bin Laden’s compound. Then hours later, before Obama takes to the mic, Keith Urbahn (see his tweet below) in America, tweets the news to us.

The Coming of the end – and the 12th Imam. I’ve been waiting to see this:

It will probably be on Glenn Beck today or this week sometime.

We have good reason to be afraid. These people not only believe in the second coming of their Messiah, but they plan to do what they can to speed up his coming, including destroying Israel and Jerusalem. They are willing to die to make it happen.

Stay on long enough and it’s translated into English.

By the way, keep your eyes open near the end for Pelosi, Obama, Bush and others giving the horned hand sign. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen a picture of any of them doing that — it’s kinda funny if it weren’t so terrifying.

Iranian woman set for execution

Okay, now I’m really pissed off. This morning we read that the UN will be investigating US for human rights violations and tonight I read this at Fox.

What kind of president do we have here who would agree to put this nation  -and Arizona – on this UN review when you consider what’s happening in nations like Iran? What kind of human rights violations occur in this country that compare to stoning a woman, or for that matter, a gay person? Where is the outrage from the bleeding heart left about this poor woman’s impending, state sanctioned  murder?

If you’ve not seen the movie, The Stoning of Soraya M., please do see it. It can be rented at Netflix, among lots of other outlets. This should be required viewing for every friggin liberal in this country and every high school student, too. I had to cover my eyes more than once during this movie. If you think that The Kite Runner was a great view of Islam, then you (and I) were taken for a ride. Until I saw The Stoning of Soraya, and after I’d read The Kite Runner, I had this misconception that Islam might have some redeeming values.

I was misinformed.

These are barbarous people who should not sit at the same table with us. What kind of god or religion sanctions stonings and abuse of women and gays?

What kind of people turn a blind eye to this and keep pointing their fingers at their own countrymen while living in the greatest nation on Earth? We have a president who calls his own citizens enemies while this is occuring almost daily around the world. A president who bows to these barbarians and apologizes for us. A first lady who is more concerned about how many donuts we eat and has  no care in the world for the abuse of young women and gay men. A group of fugly women in NOW who are too busy endorsing misogynistic candidates like Jerry Brown to be bothered with the horrendous deaths of women around the world.

When do we say ENOUGH to all of this?

I’m not sorry for this rant. I’m angry.

Evan Sayet: How Liberals Think. They really DO hate America. And he tells you how and why.

A born and raised liberal New York Jew, gives you less than an hour of how he learned liberals are wrong and and why their thinking is Anti-American. If you want to understand what moral relativism really means, he ezplains it very well.

This is excellent! If you have some time, please listen.

“After 9/11 I realized my fellow liberals really DID hate America” :

It’s their goal to “leave us nothing else to believe in” :

“Indoctrinated into a cult of indiscriminate-ness” and this is moral relativism by another name :

“If one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, can we at least agree that they must be  fighting for FREEDOM?” :

And Evan takes questions :

Messiah Obama, Tell this to the Greatest Generation and the victims and survivors of 9/11

From the National Review online:

“’Part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now and facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time is because we’re hardwired not to always think clearly when we’re scared,’ Obama said Saturday evening in remarks at a small Democratic fundraiser Saturday evening. ‘And the country’s scared.’”

I’d love to know the way those who fought and won WWII feel about being “hardwired” to not think clearly when they were scared. Were they scared in French foxholes, being shot at by Germans? Were they scared storming the beaches of Iwo Jima or fighting their way up Omaha Beach? Were they scared on the U.S.S. Arizona while Japanese kamikazes blew them up?

Remember how you felt on 9/11 and those heart wrenching days following that. Remember watching the firemen and rescue workers run into the Twin Towers to save others and the work they did for days after, trying to find survivors. Or those brave souls on flight 93 who gave all to down a third plane in a remote Pennsylvania field rather than have MUSLIM EXTREMISTS kill more thousands of souls.

Of course we’ve been scared. But being scared is what made us brave.

Does he think for a moment that Americans can’t act and act bravely when they are scared?

The arrogance of his statement is beyond belief.  This is just one more example of his condescension toward the average American; another example of his belief that America and her citizens lack exceptionalism.

What we are facing is a future of uncertainty. Small businesses can’t expand and hire more employees because they fear what the next Congress will do about taxes. Taxpayers are scared because they have no idea how this health care bill will finally play out for them. We are frightened by the total disregard for the Constitution that we see daily from those who work for us in Washington. Brave soldiers are on the frontlines in Afghanistan and Iraq while secret war documents are traitorously leaked to the world and EVERYONE is afraid for their safety.

Ambrose Redmoon said “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.”

We know what is more important than fear and when we face that, we act. This is nothing more than his attempt to make excuses for his failed regime and the certain failure of his party on November 2nd. We will act and we will vote them out.

And yes, born from fear of what, unchecked, they have done and will do to us as a nation.
