More heartbreaking news from the EPA

In the event of a government shut down the “…EPA effectively shuts down with only a core group of individuals who are there in an event of a significant emergency,” [Gina] McCarthy [new EPA head] said. “If there is no budget, EPA cannot pay its employees. People will not be working; the vast majority of people will not be working. It’s safe to say I will be.” National Journal

Is this the worst news you’ve ever heard? The EPA shuts down. How sad. And of course, if they are like every other government agency, those employees will get back pay when they are back to work. In essence, they lose no money and the head of the EPA will continue to work and make life miserable for everyone.

How heartbreaking that news is. If I were elected president, on day 2 I’d abolish the Department of Education, the Department of Energy and the EPA. These departments and agency should be left at the state levels so that the citizens of those states could determine how to administer this stuff.

Once again, just like ObamaCare, this is a one-size-fits-all government that fits no one and damages most everyone.
