Is this a depression?

I’m in a serious bloggers funk and have been for the last month or 2.

Boy howdy, I don’t know how to move out of it, either.

Aw, hate to hear it. Especially because I share it. Used to be, I couldn’t pull myself away from the blog, but now I have to make myself do it, and the posts are often now nonpolitical. And I “make the rounds” a lot less.

Let’s not beat ourselves up, though. We do what we can, and don’t what we can’t. Just stick with it, don’t quit completely. I hate it when a fellow blogger quits. Like Fleece Me, and Eastern Right.

I have a feeling that the election year will fire us back up again.

    Cheers my friend,
    Linda

Yes, I think that I will pull out of this because it IS an election year and we can’t do 4 more of Obama. We just can’t.

And I’ve kinda promised myself that I’ll make some kind of post every day, even if it’s just a photo. I’m going to keep the blog going with something.

I’m not going to quit blogging but there are about 19 days out of this month that I didn’t blog or even check here — I’m kinda burned out and feeling let down by the whole campaign process.

You guys are great and I know that it will take people like us to do more, say more and write more in the coming year in order to save America. I know this. Maybe I need some recharging, is all.

Love all you bloggers and thank you for your moral support!

At my age, I look to the Death Panels that await me if we don’t beat back this despot. Self interet for me..but of course for the next generation as well.

Do whatever you wish Roxy, however your wisdom and your experience is noted, and needed.
Next year is going to be crucial to the survival of the republic.
If you determine that you don’t want to maintain a blog anymore, so be it.
I will always consider it a privilege to have met you.
True Patriots are hard to come by.

Don’t beat yourself up. I truly admire all of our fellow bloggers that post and post and post. I really backed off the past several months. I think I only did three posts for December and my last one is not even political! (And I’m amazed I still have readers!)
We have a very important year coming up and we need your voice. You’ll find your mojo again. It’s o.k. to take a break.

I read the news til I get angry enough to make a long comment and then add the story in as an excerpt or a link Roxy, or simply repost someone else that has a really good post or music. Sometime I really want to quit, but there is always something that I just have to give my opinion on. God bless you my friend.

From the Halls of Congress to the living rooms of America apathy and self interests have kept Americans Preoccupied with the cares of everyday life and the challenges of tomorrow. Sadly, blogs have begun to wain while Face Book, Social Media, Smart Phones, and American Idol have gripped the Country with meaningless self absorption as an effort to ignore reality becomes the norm. Through the Christmas Holiday while mingling with both family and friends alike I found myself somewhat startled by the realization of just how clueless so many Americans are to the stark realities we face. Perhaps the Technology Age will become our downfall after all. As for this writer, I shall continue on come hell or high water in waking up as many Americans as I can before the 2012 Elections. If Barack Obama wins re-election in 2012 all that is America will be lost. I guess I just love my Children and Grandchildren too much to let America Die!

Look into your Grandson’s Eyes and think of his future in a Socialist America. This is what keeps me going Roxanna as I look into the eyes of my own Grandchildren. God Bless you my friend for all that you have done and all that you have yet to do!
