Folks, I believe human beings are responsible for their behavior. However, as America’s first black president, fair or unfair, Obama’s presidency comes with enormous responsibility in terms of its influence on black youths. This is why it is so unfortunate that American black youths’ ultimate role model is a characterless, race-baiting political hack.
While I am not saying president Obama is responsible for the epidemic of black youth flash-mob attacks on whites around our country, his race-baiting has to be a contributing factor. (Read more)
Lloyd really makes several valid points in this blog. The only point he didn’t really touch on is the one I’ve mentioned here before and that Maxine (we’ll socialize your oil companies) Waters brought up in Michigan this week: lack of employment for minorities.
The fact that nothing has been done to curb the unemployment rate among Black males, especially young Black males, has had to have had a profound effect on that community. When people are working, young people especially, they have a lot less time to engage in mischief and crime.
I find it really telling too, that when these flash mob videos are shown on television or written about in the media, there is virtually NO mention that these are black kids overrunning and clearing the shelves in stores like 7-11. It’s as though the media is afraid to admit the obvious – like the emperor has no clothes.
On the one hand the Black community has been totally disaffected by the left’s do-good, nannyism that has destroyed their families for the last 50 years, while at the same time they are marginalized by the highest rate of unemployment and empowered by the first Black president to do whatever they choose to in the name of pay-back for misrepresented racism.
The leadership and example that these children need is not coming from their president – the first place it should be coming from. But it could be coming from the Lloyd Marcus’, Allen Wests, Thomas Sowells of the world, if only these kids would pay attention to the message.

Unfortunately.
Pastor Manning was right, and all of the other idiots were wrong.
IF we were a MORAL, godly, CHRISTIAN nation, it would have been OK-with Al West, possibly,

Somebody, somewhere-a community organiser- is geiving the go ahead of these mobs. BO won’t adress it, because it’s his ace-in-a-hole. The Sharpton, Jackson, Van Jones, and the rest of these racist rabblerouser doing their job well.
Whites being demonised from all sides, including our own GOP. There are no two parties-it’s one big clusterfarck wotking together, getting their ‘man’ into office in 2012, or so they think.
It will get worse, and blacks always have been only votes for the left, andincludes the black caucus, which I find also racist.
We do not have a whote caucus, do we now?
Most of the black caucus memeber are communists, and only out to get their ‘black reparations’ from America.
I hope, and pray, that we have an election next year, and a Statesman-or woman, who truly cares about all of America, the Constitution, and the Bill or rights.

Well said Cali. Excellent post Roxy.
Watching these flash mobs turned thugs there is a part of me that says that these children have been given the go ahead to commit these illegal offenses.
If you recall, this season has been coined the “summer of rage” by Progressives and SOMEONE, a so-called community leader/organizer/public school teacher/rapper is getting the message out.
I posted something earlier this week but Roxy you bring it home. Hope you don’t mind if I re-post and link back to you. I am incensed by this thug mob.

You guys are both right. And D, I’ll go check out the blog you posted about this, today.
I heard Allen West call himself a modern day Harriet Tubman and I thought that was brilliant. He’s so smart and articulate, I wish we had a dozen dozen Allen West’s in our Congress! And what a great role model for ALL of America’s kids.
We’re all Americans. Color makes no difference to me or to you but there are some agitators (and Obama is the main man at the moment) out there that want to take advantage of the differences and put wedges between us. They really do want to see a race war and will agitate for one until they get it!

The Congressional Black Caucus is grossly mis-named. It’s really the Congressional Red Caucus. BTW, thanks for the suggestion, Roxy. I added a tote bag to the shop today.
August 18th, 2011 at 7:06 PM
Boy are you right! It’s full of reds.
Well great about the tote! I hope you sell some now that I’ve opened my big ol’ mouth! LOL Just watch – not one will sell! LMAO!

The fact that our gutless leader hasn’t addressed the situation, is also a missed opportunity to correct their behavior and BE a real leader worthy of respect.

You know Barb, that he doesn’t want to correct their behavior. This is exactly how he and his ilk want things to be.
And thanks for the pingback!

Great post! It is really a political phenomenon, that many African Americans support a party(Dem) that through most of America’s history really has not been on the right side of progress for the black community.
Liberal-Progressive Democrats push for more welfare, more abortions, more anti-religion and more illegal immigration; all things the black community needs less of in order to move forward. Democrats, historically and now the modern day slave master.
August 19th, 2011 at 5:06 AM
It’s amazing isn’t it, how they have been able to rewrite history and make the minorities in this country believe that the right has ALWAYS been their enemy when the reverse is really the truth? It was the democrats in the south who were opposed to integration, not the republicans, just as a for instance.
