"The WTC cross has become a Christian icon," said Dave Silverman, president of the atheist group. "It has been blessed by so-called holy men and presented as a reminder that their god, who couldn't be bothered to stop the Muslim terrorists or prevent 3,000 people from being killed in his name, cared only enough to bestow upon us some rubble that resembles a cross. It's a truly ridiculous assertion." from CNN. (Thanks to my friend in GA for sending to me!)

Where do these groups get the “right” not to be offended? I’m offend by a lot of things in this world. So what! No body cares that I’m offended and that’s the way it should be. So why should we care that these particular people are offended. Boo hoo!

Absolutely right. If I thought about it, I’m sure when I leave home, I’m offended daily by someone or something. LOL

They invalidated that argument when they didn’t have the same response to the ground zero mosque!

What is America Coming to? I think we all know and it is more than time for US to stand up and Speak Out for Our Own Religious Freedoms!

Exactly! My question is why do these atheist groups feel put upon by religion and a God they don’t believe in? How does it injure anyone who is a non-believer to have this cross in a museum or to hear a prayer at graduation?
Christians are not constitutionally protected. They need to start counter suing these people for infringing on the Christian’s right to freely worship.

You’re so right about that. We need to be fighting back, and not just standing idly by, while our freedoms are being lost.
