True or not – this is funny and why I love our troops!

from my email today:
Augusta, GA
Orville Smith, a store manager for Best Buy in Augusta, Georgia, told police he observed a male customer, later identified as Tyrone Jackson of Augusta, on surveillance cameras putting a laptop comuter under his jacket… When confronted the man became irate, knocked down an employee, drew a knife and ran for the door.
Outside on the sidewalk were four Marines collecting toys for the “Toys for Tots” program.  Smith said the Marines stopped the man, but he stabbed one of the Marines, Cpl. Phillip Duggan, in the back, the injury did not appear to be severe.
After Police and an ambulance arrived at the scene Cpl. Duggan was transported for treatment.  The subject was also transported to the local hospital with two broken arms, a broken ankle, a broken leg, several missing teeth, possible broken ribs, multiple contusions, assorted lacerations, a broken nose and a broken jaw….injuries he sustained when he slipped and fell off of the curb after stabbing the Marine.

Obama: the only thing unique about America is global theft

How can anyone on the left defend this president as effectual? He’ golfing or playing basketball, doing his NCAA brackets and entertaining rappers while the whole world is falling down around us. He is completely out of touch with what’s happening and with what the people in this nation are suffering , as exhibited by to his agenda and ineptitude.  He is disconnected from the reality that we live every day. We are viewed by the world as weak, fearfull and feckless – turning on our friends and coddling our enemies. Even congressional members of his own party are complaining that he is failing to lead.

And the perception of this means nothing to the president.  His message to us is that we are not unique, that we are on the decline and we should like it. After all, we’ve been the primary global looters for way too long.  Now it’s time to settle for $5/gallon gas (or more) and no A/C in the summer. The only thing unique about us is our greed.

There is no morning in America again. It’s America’s twilight and we should learn to accept that while he lifts his glass and hip hops with his weekly entertainers at sunset in the White House.
