Like reading David Limbaugh’s Crimes Against Liberty, this will enlighten and stun you with information you never knew and things you might have forgotten:
Today in the Las Vegas R-J the freshman congresswoman is polling 10 points behind her challenger and in a very democratic area of Clark County.
Dina, you get to go back home and be tough talkin’. You and your party blew it.
Dina saw the writing on the wall while the rest of her party pretended that it wasn’t happening. Brown won in Massachusetts as well as Virginia and New Jersey going to Republicans. But still the democrats ignored the voters messages. I guess they thought the summer of recovery would make it all alright again.
What happened was the people got angrier for being ignored.
from Reuters via Drudge A man gets on his knees next to a car carrying U.S. President Barack Obama as he pulls away from Valois restaurant in Chicago, October 31, 2010.
Aside from noting that this is a Government Motors car, what can you say about this?
A born and raised liberal New York Jew, gives you less than an hour of how he learned liberals are wrong and and why their thinking is Anti-American. If you want to understand what moral relativism really means, he ezplains it very well.
This is excellent! If you have some time, please listen.
“After 9/11 I realized my fellow liberals really DID hate America” :
It’s their goal to “leave us nothing else to believe in” :
“Indoctrinated into a cult of indiscriminate-ness” and this is moral relativism by another name :
“If one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, can we at least agree that they must be fighting for FREEDOM?” :
Have you noticed that, during this election, every time a Republican candidate appears on Fox, his Democrat opposition “can’t be reached” or “declined to appear”? The cable news channel with, hands down, the largest viewership in every single time slot, and the opposition refuses to be seen on it. Charlie Crist is a the most recent notable example of a non-Republican candidate who actually did appear (on Greta last week.) And there have been debates on Chris Wallace’s show where both candidates appeared. But for the most part, the Democrats stay clear of Fox. I guess they don’t care about the likely voters they might connect with or the donors that they are snubbing. Nothing has become more apparent than the fact that every single election, whether it’s in New Jersey or Oregon, have national implications and money from all over the nation come into those campaigns.

A few weeks ago I signed a petition at Americans for Prosperity and when doing so, I signed up to volunteer making phone calls. I didn’t do that on purpose and in fact, had no idea I had done it until I got a phone call last week asking me “how I was doing on my phone calls.”
“Oh,” I said, I’ll be getting on that tonight.” Great save, I thought.
Ah geeze. I had no idea I had volunteered to do this but then I thought about what Levin had said about doing the least this election while others, in Afghanistan, were giving their all for our freedom. So I went online and read the stuff and tried to make the calls but numbers wouldn’t show up on my screen. After a half dozen attempts, I finally realized that – duh, you have to be plugged into a phone line. So, I dug out a phone cable and plugged myself in. Okay, all set to call folks and tell them to vote for the Republicans in Arizona this election day.
But still no numbers appeared on my screen. Then I realized that I had basically shut off our lan phone. I can receive calls in but can make no calls out (except for 911) and only kept the line for the internet. We don’t even have a phone plugged in at our house because we use strictly our cell phones. You can find my phone number in the phone book but no one will ever answer it.
So my almost good, although accidental intentions were for naught. But I’ve decided that by ’12, I will have my home phone up and running to do my part.
Make no mistake about it, the 2012 campaign will begin this week, on November 3rd. It’s going to be an eternity. But as s nation we can’t survive another 4 years of this guy.

I think the most despicable part of this whole election cycle is the ballots that will not arrive in time for our soldiers overseas to vote. Nothing expresses the incompetence of our elected officials better than this. They knew over a year ago that the second day in November was election day (like that never changes, you dumbasses) and still they could not have the ballots ready and mailed in time. Elections should be held up until every single soldier who wants to vote, is able to.
This is nothing short of shameful and a transparent suppression of voters who will likely not vote in the Democrats favor!

I don’t know about anyone else, but I welcome gridlock in Washington. I’m proud to be the party of NO. I remember the story Levin tells about what Senator Laxalt told him years ago: “Every day that Congress convenes, is another day of lost liberty for Americans.” (or words to that affect, I’m paraphrasing here.) The less those people can do, the better for all of us. I hope they tie up things and gum up the works. There have been enough damage done in the bills and presidential appointments that have already been passed.
Earlier, Obama’s daughters Sasha and Malia were not to be part of the trip. But sources revealed that Michelle’s opinion prevailed and now the girls would accompany the first American couple to India.
The US president will make a historic trip to the Taj Mahal along with his family. His visit is historic in terms of logistics which is the largest ever for a visiting US president.
Elaborate security arrangements The presidential entourage will have 40 aircraft, including the Air Force One that will ferry the president. There will be six armoured cars, including four Barack Mobiles and a Cadillac.
Cadillac is equipped with a mini communication centre to enable Obama to be in touch with the White House, US vice president and the US strategic command. It also has the US nuke launch codes and it can withstand a chemical or germ warfare and a bomb attack.
Two secret service command posts will be set up in Delhi and Mumbai to act as the communication nerve centres. These will monitor the president’s movement with real time satellite monitoring.
Three Marine One choppers will be reassembled in India to ferry the president and his family and to evacuate them in case of any emergency.
Hey, thanks for alerting the world where Obama keeps the nuclear launch codes!!! Great job there!
My first question is this: if this trip requires this much security, maybe he should not be going? Just sayin’.
Second: why is the whole family going? Is there not another time they can go to India, like 2013, after he is no longer in office?
And third: what’s the return on our money going to be for this extravaganza?
Crushing one of the precious few portapotties at Stewarts rally/Reuters
Reuters caption: A man lies down atop a portable toilet for a better view as thousands gather for comedians Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert at the “Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear” on the National Mall in Washington, October 30, 2010
It was just a couple weeks ago that the folks in charge of this rally were begging the Marines for some of their port-a-potties. Stewarts “people” were willing to rent them from the Marines, who are having a marathon run tomorrow in DC, because the rally folks were afraid they weren’t going to have enough.
Obviously, they were at least one more short after this one was destroyed. I have to wonder how many other potties were destroyed like this. I guess the lawn on the mall got watered well today. . .
Now I can’t wait to see the after-rally mess they left.
Florida independent Senate candidate Charlie Crist personally lobbied Democratic candidate Kendrick Meek to exit the race this week, offering him a cross that had been a gift from his sister, Mr. Meek said Friday.
The gesture occurred Monday as Mr. Crist and Mr. Meek were surrounded by local Jewish leaders at a Hollywood, Fla., meeting of the pro-Israel lobbying group American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
“I was shocked when he did it,” Mr. Meek said in an interview late Friday. “I told him to keep the cross and that I carry my Christianity in my heart.”
Crist spokesman Danny Kanner said he would not comment on a private conversation.
This must’ve been like a diamond encrusted cross or something. Even one that had been blessed by the Pope (and I’m a Catholic) would not entice me to drop out of a race if I were Meeks.
I gotta ask myself “what was this about?” I’m perplexed. . .
Where are the so-called women’s groups defending these women? The National Organization of Women actually endorsed Meg Whitman’s opponent after the wh*re comment and only after some teeth-pulling by the media did they come out against the Gawker attack on Christine O’Donnell (originally NOW spokespeople said twice they were “passing” on the story).
Perhaps more importantly, where in the world are the ABC executives denouncing Joy Behar’s unprofessional and misogynic rant against Sharron Angle? Might as well put them in the same category as NPR for their firing Juan Williams. ABCs silence is a disgusting show of intolerance towards conservative women.
Joy Behar needs to be fired, immediately. Are ABC executives hiding under their desks, afraid of her wrath? Get over it and do the right thing.
I’m keeping up my boycott and daily letter writing to The View and ABC – although I never watch either, they don’t know that. You can write to ABC and complain, too. If Walters has no more control over her “colleagues” than this, she shouldn’t have a show.
This is not all about Sharron Angle, either. We’ve all seen the clips of Behar attacking Sarah Palin over the last almost 3 years. Behar is nothing but Garafalo -sorta-light. These are mean, hateful, spiteful women who lack any semblance of class and should not be in a position where younger women look to them as role-models.
In short, they are school-yard bullies and need to be taken off the air. And if taking them off the air is not possible then let’s all just turn them off!
[F[or many more people in line at the polls in Miami Gardens, fears of a possible Senator Rubio were guiding their decisions. Voters said they waited nearly an hour to cast their ballots because they wanted to stand up against Mr. Rubio’s support for an Arizona-style immigration law, his stated goal of changing Social Security and his association with the Tea Party, which struck many as a mask for ignoring the needs of black Floridians and the less fortunate.
“When I hear Rubio speak, it’s just frightening,” said Stephanie Moore, 49, a freelance consultant who said she would vote for Mr. Crist. “That whole Tea Party movement — it’s going to set black folks back by 40 years.”
I don’t understand this kind of thinking, at all. Setting black folks back? What is she basing that on? These folks seem to forget which party voted against civil rights of the ’60s.
Democrats have caused the slums in Detroit (and cities all over this country) with over 50 years of control. How many more years do you have to keep giving the power to the them before you figure out that they aren’t working FOR your betterment?
And on another related topic: Rubio has scared the besjesus out of the democrats. Prime example is this Meeks/Crist/Clinton/Obama stand off. Who asked who to quit the race, when did they ask, and why?
I think they are more afraid of Rubio than they are of Michele Bachmann. Rubio is the face of a president and they know it. Rubio is the greatest hope of many Republicans and not just in Florida. If he were running today, he’d have my vote. He is the inheritor of the great communicator.
And on just one more topic:
In Connecticut today, and as I’ve seen at all democrat rallies this year, there are signs with the Obama brand on them. He says this election is not about him but his symbol is everywhere at these rallies. It’s a loser and yet, they still flash it around. What I really think is that this is for him, this is the start of the ’12 race. We are going to see him do – for the next 2 years – what he does best: campaign. He can’t govern but he sure can campaign.
“Brace yourselves, because the war with Muslims has just begun,” 31-year-old Faisal Shahzad told a federal judge. “Consider me the first droplet of the blood that will follow.”
