You know, before the John Edwards “affair”, I would have blown off anything from the National Enquirer but here’s this, from Drudge.
Now, you gotta wonder… and it brings new meaning to this photo:
Yes, that’s France’s first lady, but that look from Michelle is a killer, no matter who it’s directed at.

Just one more thing…
The secret of life itself…
JUMPING JACK FLASH
(Jagger/Richards)
Watch it!
I was born in a cross-fire hurricane
And I howled at my ma in the driving rain,
But it’s all right now, in fact, it’s a gas!
But it’s all right. I’m Jumpin’ Jack Flash,
It’s a Gas! Gas! Gas!
I was raised by a toothless, bearded hag,
I was schooled with a strap right across my back,
But it’s all right now, in fact, it’s a gas!
But it’s all right, I’m Jumpin’ Jack Flash,
It’s a Gas! Gas! Gas!
I was drowned, I was washed up and left for dead.
I fell down to my feet and I saw they bled.
I frowned at the crumbs of a crust of bread.
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I was crowned with a spike right thru my head.
But it’s all right now, in fact, it’s a gas!
But it’s all right, I’m Jumpin’ Jack Flash,
It’s a Gas! Gas! Gas!
Jumping Jack Flash, its a gas
Jumping Jack Flash, its a gas
Jumping Jack Flash, its a gas
Jumping Jack Flash, its a gas

I have a signed picture (by Paul Kantner) of him and Marty Balin. Saw them as Jefferson Starship, years and years ago.
Wonder where I put that picture?
May 2nd, 2010 at 2:31 PM
I sat in line to see them in a concert in Tulsa a long long time ago. I influenced my dear sister into wicked ways… 😦

May 2nd, 2010 at 2:12 PM
You know, she’s an artist? She had a show in Las Vegas at a gallery in Ceasar’s Palace a few years ago. She’s pretty damned good, too!

And for a non-redhead, she is gorgeous, I agree!
May 2nd, 2010 at 1:43 PM
So how are you doing, ma chérie? We’ve been distant, but because of me. Personal life gets in the way. 😦
May 2nd, 2010 at 1:49 PM
Yes, I wondered what had happened… but I’m glad you’re back! Your music always makes me smile and brings back so many memories. I love them!!!
I’ve had some life get in the way this week too, but I think I have it under control now. One can hope at least. It seems like when things are going okay and plans are made, something comes along and bends it all up. I guess that’s why humans are so resilient; we can bend it back or adjust to the bends. And I don’t mean diving…

Steven Spielberg was trying to find a theme song to Peter Benchley’s “Jaws”.
This one was dropped from the list.
Yesterday
The Beatles
lyrics
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they’re here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Suddenly I’m not half the man I used to be…
May 2nd, 2010 at 1:33 PM
That part about Jaws was a joke, right? LOL
