If I have to prove my citizenship with a government approved ID, then maybe it IS time Obama show the birth certificate!
And I think it’s time to get Lindsey Graham out of the senate.
Once again, the ramifications of this government move is terrifying. The hits just keep on coming out of DC.
PoliticsDaily.com/ A comprehensive immigration bill coming together in the Senate could include a requirement that all American workers obtain a national biometric identification card.
Under the proposal, all legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would get an ID card with information such as fingerprints embedded onto it, The Wall Street Journal
The effort is being spearheaded by Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). They and their supporters say requiring companies to hire only people with worker ID cards would keep illegal immigrants from taking American jobs.
Privacy advocates fear such a card, which is common in European countries, would become a de facto national ID that would allow the government to track citizens.
Schumer and Graham hope to meet with President Obama on the issue this week. An administration official told the Journal the White House had no position on the worker ID card. reported Tuesday.

I seem to see a huge discordance here….
On one side we see people insisting that Obama must go, over and beyond, any citizens requirement to provide proof of citizenship (apparently, his real birth certificate is somehow insufficient). Then we see the same people insisting that they do not need to provide any such proof when it comes to their own person.
So what do you want. A totalitarian state ruled by paperwork, or a libertarian state rules by talent, skill and capability. You can’t have both!

Yep, you get to be as chickenshit as you life. What a principled individual you are!

If I wanted to argue with someone, I wouldn’t be here.
This is my blog. I allow what I want here. If you don’t like that, start your own or go back where you came from.
Had you come here with a statement less rude to begin with, maybe we could’ve had a discussion. But you started out right off the bat, nasty and rude, which is typical of people like you. You attack people who don’t toe your line.
Please leave me alone. Find another blog or start your own. I promise you, I will not post on it.

LOL why bother, we know he doesn’t have one. There are so many other high crimes and misdemeanors to take the smoken, choken token down…It’s all about timing and the desire of the Republicans to go after him or let it slide and go full tilt with proposals to jump start America. The bill’s he has signed, will be reversed. States are using nullification to take back their rights from the Feds. Obama will mean the death to the democratic party, and that will be his legacy. Jim

Obama has shown a birth certificate; that you are ignorant about what constitutes a birth certificate does not invalidate that.
March 12th, 2010 at 4:05 PM
Well dumbass, I don’t really care about his birth certificate, but if I have to start “carrying papers” to prove who I am, and where I’ve been traveling and what my medical condition is (which is all information that this biometeric ID card can and will carry) then no one else is above proving their citizenship too.
Now run along and cozy up with your liberal marxist friends. I don’t crash your parties, stay out of mine.

How stupid do they think we are ?
National ID card, bullshit !

exactly. the ramifications of an ID with biometric information (which sounds frighteningly like what will be in the health care bill) is another way of keeping track of us.
Keeping track of us…. managing and controlling us… containing us in one area… restricting our movement.
I keep seeing that Big Brother tv screen from 1984, all around me. The thought of my children living in this kind of country makes me sick.
