Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, said Reid’s remarks were over the top.
“That is extremely offensive,” he told Fox News. “It’s language that should never be used, never be used. … Those days are not here now.”
Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., suggested Reid was starting to “crack” under the pressure of the health care reform debate.
“I think it’s beneath the dignity of the majority leader,” Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., said. “I personally am insulted.”
I’d move back to Las Vegas next year just to be able to vote against this jerk. He’s facing a hard time next year and I’ll be relishing his loss.

Donna S???? who is a commentator on CNN came out and said he was speaking very figuratively – go figure. He is over tired and over-burdened and senile. He could be recalled on any of those charges but at his age, he could be RECALLED anytime. This is a very good post. I’m in shock at your abilities. LOL

IMO Reid is being strong-armed by the Obama administration.
Reference the EPA unconstitutional power to control CO2 emissions.
Even Sen. Webb D.VA has called Obama on this.

Yes I agree. And he rewrites history too. It was the Republicans who abolished slavery and a Republican president. It was the republicans who passed civil rights in the 60’s. Not the democrats. And if my history is right, it was the Republicans who passed the female vote, not the democrats.

Your knowledge of history is accurate indeed.
Reid is senile, in my humble opinion.
But then so are many others designing the rules we have to live under, concerning our lives, and our childrens future.
No pay-offs involved here, no, never.

Any congressman or woman voted out of office in 2010 loses health care benefits.
